For those of you that are fundamental Christian - Please do not be afraid!
Before Christ there was God. "In the beginning, God..."
God Loves Everyone Equally - not just the "Christians"
Jesus taught to "Love God Above All Else" and to "Love Each Other As Thyself"
Jesus NEVER taught hate or fear or seperation.
Jesus as Saviour is not the only way - God loves everyone regardless of religion or belief. God even loves atheists (really)
Jesus was the master teacher - be AS Jesus! Jesus lived as an example - not an exception. (..and greater things than this shall you do...)
The Christ Within is there whether you believe or not. The Truth will set you free! Love thy neighbor - Love thy self.
The world is waking up now and changing. Haleluyah! This is the most wonderful time to be alive in all recorded history!
Thank you Oprah!
I agree with your post which is along the lines of what I wrote yesterday to which someone also replied with their views, but, now, both posts have disappeared! I don't know why or who could have removed them. They were not offensive at all but only pointed out that A New Earth is not dissuading anyone from practicing their religion (which incidentally are all created by man, whereas spirituality is from God and universal). We are all the same and cut from the same cloth no matter what religion we follow be it Chrisitanity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism or Islam. We all came from the same source, God, and will return to the same God no matter what you believe and religions only divide people and stress their differences, whereas spirituality unites people as they realize they are all the same. No religion is more correct than another as Jesus wanted us to follow Our Father, God, which he was doing and showing us the way to follow God. Jesus didn't want followers for himself, he wanted us to follow God, no matter how you get there. WE ARE ALL THE SAME AS THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND WE ARE ALL PART OF HIM. Simple. Get it?

Hi Joel1977,
Your message caught my attention. When I watched the last webinar, Eckhart briefly mentioned that these teachings weren't being taught in schools. This got me thinking, what a wonderful thing it would be if they were. My oldest daughter is in 6th grade and last night she said to me, "Mommy, what kind of world is it going to be like when I grow up. ? . . most of the kids in my school don't care about school and don't pay attention. It's so hard for my teachers to teach because many of the kids are so disruptive." What saddens me is that when I helped once a week in this same daughter's 4th grade class, it seemed like most of the children really wanted to learn. Some of the students had "big" personalities, but they were all precious children.
So my question to you is, as a principal, how are you implementing the teachings of A New Earth in your elementary school ? You mentioned in your post that you had seen a monumental shift in your school. How so?
I would appreciate any advice you might have.
Thank you.

Just wanted to respond to your post briefly.. hope I got your user name right. I have found that it takes quite awhile to adjust lifelong patterns or habits. Then all of a sudden you realize you do it automatically most of the time almost unaware. So be patient and keep at it. Reactivity is a lifelong pattern so realize it will probably not change easily. In the past, for me, I notice my slip after the fact, then I notice while I'm doing it, then I stop myself before I err and then all of a sudden I am doing it unconsciously. Now I know we don't want to be unconscious but sometimes it happens before we are conscious we are doing it. Perseverence is the key.
This idea I've read about one "not being ready to accept" what Tolle is teaching is disturbing. Whatever anyone chooses to believe is up to them. I know what I believe in & it's not Oprah or Tolle & that is not about to change.
It seems anymore her show can't end without her going on about her Big Give (charity should be given quietly, not shouted from the rooftops praising oneself for doing so) or hearing about this book.
It would be nice if Oprah got back to entertaining with her talk show instead of politicking & preaching.
I would first like to take this opportunity to thank Oprah and Eckhart for this amazing show ,from the first night that I watched the webcast I have been blown away by the energy I feel throughout the show. I have learned so much about myself ,things that I had hidden deep within and now I feel more free than I have in years .My husband has also expressed that I look happier ,he sees a light in my eyes that has been gone for a while. I have found a way to put the past behind me for good and live life each day with new awareness and a sense of peace and joy for what is. AMAZING! I had an aha moment when listening to "The Power OF Now "on CD ,something that happened to me a few years ago meant so much more . My husbands grandmother ,who was 101 at the time, was quite ill but her mind was still very sharp , we were visting her and when we were leaving I went over and kissed her and took her hand and told her I loved her ,what happened then was something I had never experienced before , she held my hand and looked so deeply into my eyes that I remember thinking it felt like she was looking right inside me , she then squeezed my hand and told me to take care of myself . She had never said that type of thing to me before and now I wonder if she was feeling the pain I was feeling at that time ,somehow I now believe that to be true . Thank you Oprah for all you do for the world and Eckhart for writing this book ,blessings to you both. Sheila
Hi Oprah, I am 175 pgs into The New Earth. I am so relieved to know that the voice inside my head is not me and I don't have to listen to it anymore. I don't have to find myself I can just be. I am pure potential. I see things clearer and clearer everyday. I have been practicing being present in the everyday ins and outs of my life that used to irritate me. I find myself happier everyday. While being present in these tasks I have these clear understandings of things. I am not thinking about them or trying to figure them out. All of a sudden it just occurs to me like something you already knew but had forgotten. I have a deeper understanding of my children who live in every moment. I feel more conected to them then ever. Earlier this week I noticed a plant in my backyard that I hadn't noticed before. It was one single vine. A couple of days later there was a yellow flower starting to grow. When the flower opened I realized it was a sunflower. My favorite flower. My favorite flower is growing in the backyard and I did not physically plant it. I have been awakened. I wanted to attach a picture of it for you to see but couldn't figure out how. It is beautiful.

Despite the rules of math and language, there are more important truths.
To me, the most important point in your post is not the rules of about math & language...it is
that Oprah and her dearly beloved life-partner of many years, Mr. Graham, have breakfast together on weekends...and she cooks it for them. ('It' being breakfast...in case my language or grammar is not
correct enough.
It is great that they eat together on weekends or any other time. That is not the point. The point is that when Oprah or anybody else does not care enough about the English language to speak correctly, it is a form of laziness. People from other countries come here and learn English and speak it better than we do. First impressions count. If someone says "have came" or "have did" or "to I" or "for I" or any other incorrect usage, they come across as unintelligent regardless of how pompous they sound when saying it. If I were the owner of a business, I would want the person who interacted with my clients either in person or on the phone to have impeccable grammar skills. They are a reflection of me and my business. If a potential client hears any of the examples listed above spoken by one of my employees, he may think that is indicative of the service he will receive. Goodbye client
Hi Sunnydaizy . . .yes I did see that also . . . and what an eyeopener. There are several others also worth watching. The more I think about this division on here I realize that the classmates are believing that these changes are due to their thought process. To explain when I became a Christian it was an immediate change of peace that came over me. I didn't have to gear my thoughts to make a change. That is the power of God. I was willing to give my life over to Him and the Holy Spirit poured out His love and is there always to guide and direct me. I still make my own choices but by being in the Word you learn to abide with God. The stronger you become in Christ the harder the devil (Satan) is trying to trip you up. The greatest blessing is that you will be in Heaven someday and have an eternal life that is so wonderful we can't even imagine. No where in all these messages have I read anyone giving the glory to God. It seems you are giving the credit to Oprah and being prideful of yourselves. Just my observation. Also is this a permanent discovery or just something passing in the wind? Still have Oprah is my prayers daily! That she will open her eyes and heart and get back on the right path.
Good grammar lesson. Thanks for taking the time. I notice a lot of mistakes in language everyday and I find errors are so frequent and becoming so normal and as a result are being accepted as okay into the language construct or included in dictionaries due to common occurrence.
I notice also how often people are writing "loosing" instead of "losing".
I watched the movie "Into the Wild" yesterday. It's the story of Christopher McCandless, which was featured on a past Oprah show. WOW, that boy was awakened back in the 1990's - I could not believe how much I related his words to "A New Earth".
Definately worth watching again.
