I am not being deceived by anyone especially Eckhart Tolle and Ophra--there are many many ways to God, and I am enjoying reading the book, watching the lessons, and most of all life, because God loves me and everyone no matter what path we are travelling

Thomas Merton was a follower of Jesus, who believed like many of us that fear is what will stop you on your journey. He was not afraid to follow the "road less traveled". He knew the truth of himself and the truth of Jesus' who is all forgiving.

Let us not be afraid to walk the talk. In the end it's our actions that will lead us to freedom and the peace of the Risen Christ.

Thomas Merton is a pilgrim just like the rest of us. His journey led him to experience other "truths", Do you realize that Jesus searched in the same manner? "Do not be afraid, I go before you". This is the legacy that Jesus gave us. There are different paths but the road leads to "unity". One day we will all be one. This might be frightening for some of you, who only think one way.

Eckhart is trying to lead us in this direction. I leave with a bible verse for your reflection.

What in the world are you saying? Jesus didn't search for anything. He knew ALL. He was there in the beginning when Satan was cast down from Heaven. Comparing Thomas Merton to Jesus is insane. Thomas Merton and Eckhart Tolle are men, not God. With that verse, Jesus was praying for the disciples. Not Thomas Merton or ET. It is just more evidence that the Bible is God's Word. One day only the Believers will be One in Christ. ONLY Believers. Jesus said He is the ONLY Way. That's it. He said it and you can't have another way if there is only ONE Way.

I miss your post before, thanks for re-posting, I felt your sincere love in God. I have used ANE lessens to help me be closer to God also. In knowing our true essent, we are learning to love all. This is exactly what our God wants for us all. Bless you in your faith. Anita

Jesus grew in statute and in wisdom. Why did it visit the priests in the temple? To gain wisdom. This is what Eckhart is trying to share, his wisdom. Luke 2:40-52 The Boy Jesus at the Temple.

Study the scriptures with good Bible scholars and commentaries it might give you a better understanding on where many of us Christians are coming from.

We are on these boards to grow in our own inner truth and Jesus is a person that one can choose to follow, there are many who will never hear of Jesus teachings. You are not helping to build God's kingdom when you negate other people's inner truth.

no. YOU miss the point. The miracle of Jesus is in the resurrection of his body into heaven. I aready made my point and you have made yours. I believe the miracle of the Bible is that it reaches far beyond it's binding. You keep it confined to it's pages.. There are more books missing from the bible than are in it today. You keep telling us what Jesus said. You know only what you read. I know that and much, much more. I really have no problem with your twisted version of the Bible. It has nothing to do with me. There is not a word you have written that affects me or has me questioning what I know to be true.

I have accepted His offer. He knows that. That Jesus wants us to live in a state of repentance is ridiculous. None of us are or ever will be without sin. But God continues to forgive.

No one here has ever said that Jesus was only about Love. It is you who made that blanket assumption. It's simply that people like you haven't stopped spewing damnation, death and eternal punishment if we don't follow YOUR dark interpretation of what God wants!

1.If He was there was He Spirit only.
2.If He was Spirit only then there was a Father God and a Son God= 2 Gods.
3.If He was there in the flesh then how did he get into His mothers' womb? Did God turn Him into a fetus?

No, you just haven't read the posts correctly. People all over this board continue to say Jesus is love and that's all.

Just because I'm not saying anything about the Resurrection doesn't mean that I don't believe that. When I talk about Him dying on the cross, I'm talking about all of it.

By the way, nothing was left out of the Bible if it was never in there to begin with.

You can continue here leaving out the Truth, but you will be the one standing before our Savior having to account for the many that you led astray.

Okay, so there is only one way to heaven, you say, great! ANE has been developed to help stop the chatter in your head.

You know, the voice that just will not shut up long enough to avoid you to hear what someone else is saying to you.

Or the voice that plans what you are going to say to so-n-so the next you see them.

Or what you should have said, when they said such-n-such to you.

Or the voice that complain about this or that.

Or the feelings that were hurt 20 years or more, that you cannot get pass, which in turn creates more drama for you.

It helps to explain why you continue to attract the same kind of people or certain's in your life.



It not heaven or even Jesus. Read it you might learn something that will help you deal with your everyday life!
