What a wholesome family! I can't wait. It's going to be really refreshing to have another topic that's not negative to discuss on these boards! LOL Oh, and what an opportunity to get nostalgic. The years do fly, but how terrific it'll be to see such a talented family together! Hope there'll be some singin' goin' on that show when it airs!

Any bets on whether someone will link this thread with the Mormon ones? (other than this message, of course!)

On a semi serious note, I had no idea they came from such a huge family! Donny is still looking good and I've caught Marie on Dancing with the Stars a few times. She is a trouper and I like her attitude. Sorry folks, but I'm not familiar with the rest of the family. But this also ties in with the utube episode on Oprah because I have only been able to watch old episodes of the Donny & Marie show there.

I am so excited!!!!! A friend of mine got tickets for the Oprah Show with the Osmonds. I can hardly wait. I have never been to the show before and I LOVE THE OSMONDS!! Trying to keep my feet on the ground!!!!!!!!!!

The show had not been filmed already? I just someone announce in another thread that the family father has died. If they haven't filmed yet, I expect that it may not be (unless they choose to do so as a tribute to him).

I would like to send my deepest condolences to the Osmond family on the death of their Patriarch. I remember watching the show each week and loving just how close they all were. Having lost my mother not too long ago, I know your pain and send my prayers. Remember all of the wonderful times you shared with him and remember to include his stories, it helps through the tears, and sadness. Love to you all.

Will they do the show now there father died this morning?

We have tickets for the 7th also!!!! Three of us are coming from Iowa. We're devastated by the news of George's death!!! Our deepest condolences to the family.
Any word what they're going to do about Thursday's taping?

I doubt the Osmonds will be on the show Friday. We'll see. I think they were going to tape it the 8th.

Sadly George Osmond died today. He was 90 and the cause is not known. He and his wife Olive had 9 children. He had 55 grandchildren and 44 greatgrandchildren. He and his wife founded the Children's Miracle Network, a nonprofit to benefit children's hospitals. I look forward to the show that I assume will be at later date.

Very sad to hear of George Osmond's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
