Jamie Lee Curtis is self-rigtheous

Posted on Apr 7, 2008

That woman (Jamie Lee Curtis) is every bit as self-righteous, condescending and boring as Ashley Judd…she even poked at Oprah today…and as always Oprah took the high road.

Yeah she's a little self-righteous but so is Oprah at times, as well, and the majority of powerful people out there. Oprah gets on her soap box too but you can put that aside when you listen to their messages. They have a lot of good, quality and sound advice. Sometimes having some extra ego actually gives you the balls to do things the humble person might not be able to pull off. If you can get past her "self-righteousness" you might enjoy the message and the intelligence with which she conveys it.

Re Jamie Lee Curtis interview-I agree with everything she says, but her manner turns me off. It's her opinion and she acts as if her words came directly from God. And, by the way, she's Hungarian and Jewish? I thought Judaism was a religion not an ethnicity. Sammy Davis was Jewish - is she Hungarian and black.

I totally agree with you. Her message is worth putting aside petty judgments to hear. I think that society at large is quick to call a woman self-righteous simply because she has an opinion and is comfortable in her own skin. If a man acted exactly the way she did you wouldn't think one thing of it. It wouldn't even be a discussion.

Don, yes I'd have the same reaction to a man believing he was better than anyone else as I do Jamie Lee Curtis...her 'bed side manner' is less than becomming to all humans...she is so filled with herself that she can't see anyone else.
