It was really irritating. I wanted to hear Jamie Lee.

Woe people, did you really need Jamie Lee to make you feel great at 50? I find it sad we need a celebrity to tell us we are wonderful women in order to feel wonderful about ourselves. I am VERY happy with myself but it has nothing to do with her and I'm almost 50. I would have rather had a show with Dr. Oz, at least I would have learned something.

Whew!! The interview with Jamie was exhausting. I had to mute the television a couple times. She talks so fast and so loud, it was hard to even listenl. Oprah couldn't get a word in....they couldn't even break for a commercial.....Jamie needs to, very slowly now.....B R E A T H E........wow.....One last thing, she has appointed herself the "emotional myth buster". Give me a break.

Who is she to judge us....I guess she can have her opinion, ..................................................................... She isnt judging you and yes she is entitled to her opinion just as you are. I think you have gone off into victimhood over her comments and taking it way too far. Lighten up and get over your drama and over sensitive reaction to Salma's comments.

Oh, my, just glad to know that with 3 months to go to the big 50, I'm not the only one that feels the way jamie does! I almost feel BAD that I'm not going to have or buy into all the stuff that is thrown at women to make them look perfect! I eat right, exercise, socialize and work. Hopefully the lines of my aging face will tell a lovely story. It isn't easy when suddenly your knees wrinkle when you are running on the treadmill to be sure,....but, life is good! Yeah for women!

My husband and I thought it was TERRIFIC when Jamie Lee Curtis called Oprah on the whole MISLEADING ads for the show. Jamie Lee DID NOT pose nude. This is just like the MAN having baby ads. Not so. Tsk. Tsk. Seems like today's show is all about making people accountable? Peace 1647

I really like what Jamie Lee Curtis had to say today and I could care less if she's a "celebrity". I liked her way of thinking about aging and how blunt she is when she talks. Her and I have alot in common! I'm turning 51 in June and the one big lesson I learned in aging is when you say "no", you don't have to justify your answer any more!

Yes. It is my perception, too, that Oprah could not get a word in edge-wise. It wasentertaining for me to watch this cycle, because Oprah may experience what it feels like to Eckhart Tolle when he tries to talk about things that he knows a lot about and she keeps interrupting. Oprah has very high energy next to Tolle. He. He. She is way more animated. This is how Jamie came across next to Oprah. Very animated and very passionate. I can imagine it must have been a challenge for Oprah. And Jamie just had to make her point after the commercial. I felt like I was watching "THE JAMIE LEE CURTIS SHOW." LOL. Well there you go! Two, strong, powerful women in one room...And Oprah handled it gracefully. She didn't say, "You know what? This is my show. You are not being a team player! I get to ask the questions and you get to answer, OK?" This is what Jamie did to Oprah today. Jamie pretty much took over. Well, that was my perception so I'd better take a good look at why I am seeing this.

The show made my heart race. I was very nervous. Jamie's energy was SOOOO high. LIke 200 cups of coffee talking. I always feel that way when I know I have 15 minutes to say whatever, and maybe that's how Jamie felt. I loved digesting what Jamie said, though. And, I was also disappointed (I imagined a balloon deflating!) when Oprah said, "Well you've had work done, right?" I kind of took that to mean, "Well you look great, but...you've had surgery, so don't try to deceive the audience..." It felt hurtful. I wonder if I do that to people? I bet I do! Peace1647

loridorido, you just called Salma Hayek stupid, a woman who has a fabulous career, won awards,turned out some fabulous acting, had a child after she found the right person, at the right age for her. You called her stupid, because she finds losing weight difficult despite breast feeding, which apparently you need some sort of award for doing, despite the GLARING fact that you were apparently in your 20's, when it's easy for MOST people to do. You called her stupid, when your post is loaded with grammatical errors and she is able to communicate in more than one language. Oh, and by the way, look into the average life expectancy of women these days. If people dropped like flies in their fifties, you might have had me. I'm sorry that this post is a little on the critical side, but when a well-established, intelligent, beautiful, self-assured person like Salma is criticized so brutally, it makes you wonder about the motivations behind the critique. You think she's stupid? I feel sad for you.

I like Jamie Lee. She has moxy. I have 3 years to 50 and look forward to it. I also like her haircut.

Jamie Lee is amazing and I have always looked up to her. She has her priorities in the right place, she's beautiful, strong, intelligent, a great mother. But, I also just want to give my own little shout out to Co-operative games for kids. Our whole lives are filled with teaching people to be out for just themselves and step on others on their way to the top and compete, compete, compete.
