Oprahs changing her stance on quality

Posted on Mar 31, 2008 5:16 PM

Hi,
I am a 47 yr old male who watches Oprah,I recall a few years ago that she will no longer participate in "trash TV" and the quality of her show skyrocketed,, the subjects were meaningful and valuable to society. during the show today they were announcing an up coming show an " all new Oprah" special,, a pregnant man!!
Please dont tell me we are going back to the Jerry Springer genre!!
Sincerely
Brian

Tell her to have her pastor the racist Reverand wright on, that would be a real jerry springer show and enough for obama's colors to be seen and lose the nomination. Check out you tube very enlighenting

It's now all about the rich, powerful and famous. I have seen this pattern in her shows for the last few years. Mankind is starting to go through very turbulent times.Just like this new class with Eckart Tolle. It appeals to the masses which is never a good thing. The masses always follow what is mediocre and materialistic, unable to perceive subtle and truer realities. They will forever glorify the demagogue and the hypocrite. These qualities will bring about more pain and suffering but few recognize false doctrines of man.

For the few that get it know that hard times are in our midst.

I will not be surprised when I hear Oprah's ratings have significantly dropped. Maybe if she needed all this attention she should have ran for president.

Bottom line...for me, IMHO...Oprah is amazing & has done important wonderful things in the world. But...her shows lately are becoming like a big commercial: A New Earth, The Big Give, Billy Joel's wife's lame cookbook (wow, 23 & she can make meatloaf)...

May I ask why it scares you? Any fad where it involves the masses is never good, in my opinion. Where this leads, who knows. I see it only dividing people and that can never be good.
