I LOVED IT AT FIRST IT WAS A LITTLE SLOW. BUT THEN I REALLY GOT IN TO IT. I LIKED HOW CAL TOLD THE INTERESTING STORY OF HIS GRANDPARENTS COMING TO America. IT was very interesting. I was :-( when his father died what a terrible way to die. i guess i like this very interesting subject:)

I cried when Calliope read her file in the Doctor's office, and then later at the hotel when she wrote his runaway letter proclaiming she was a boy. I was so happy he had finally begun to figure himself out.

I just read the book and I LOVED IT!!!.
As a staff member of a literary magazine, I've read a LOT of dreck. It's not that often I read somthing as good as Middlesex.
My favorite part of the book is when Cal finds out about his condition, it stunned me.
