I absolutely ADORE Ellen. That woman has such a down-to-earth Soul. I love her spirit and the person she is... but what I love the most about Ellen is that she has the ability to be famous and HAVE FUN at the same time. She's not some stuff shirt, all caught up in her wealth. She's real and she connects with people. You don't see her in Gucci, Versace, etc. She'll walk out on stage wearing sneakers and blue jeans and a t-shirt. That's impressive. She has not let what's in her pocket go to her head.


It's one thing to be famous and have money. It's another thing to try to be above the very ones you are trying to reach.

I've tried to watch her show a couple of times. She is not funny. I am always so bored and turn the channel. :|

...sister" Ellen I have unconditional love for you, too. I am a Christian, at heart, my mouth needs to catch up, LOL... I am "straight" and I find it funny when women flirt with me, it turns my husband on, married going on 19 years and looking forward to eternity with this clown, LOL @ "my boo".

Ellen is wonderful, as is her gal pal !!! I admire all their work with animals...I ran a private refuge for 20 years here in Chapel Hill, NC and it is not easy...Controversy follows even when none is deserved...Now I have taken to only doing one of my passions which is being a Psychic...That is much easier than getting down and dirty in the trenches to gather dogs out of dumpsters and kittens in the most horrid of places...So be it..Mary Ellen Armstrong...and PS- PLEASE spay and neuter your pets..If you cannot afford it call your local shelter for low-cost or free programs....

Yes Ellen is amazing and I agree with what you said she doesn't let her money get to her head =] She worked hard for it unlike those girls like Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie etc... it's just like the saying "give a man a fish he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he's eat for life." you can't just be handed everything in life... you have to work for it =]
