3/5 whole grain vegetarian pizzas

Pizza & Crust

2 cups water

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 cups white bread flour

1 cup oatmeal

1 cup whole wheat

1 cup rye

5-6 ½ teaspoons gluten

1 teaspoon sugar

2 tsp salt

3 ½ tsp yeast


Dough cycle. 2 # bread machine. May freeze in portions.

Bake as needed at 400 degrees 12-15 minutes.

Months ago someone asked for a whole grain pizza crust recipe. This is my best attempt. I top it with flavored tomato sauce, fresh herbs, & a combination of about 3 of the following (sauteed) : red or yellow bell peppers, eggplant, mushrooms, shallots, sometimes spinach, roasted garlic & ripe olives and pizza cheese.

Bake again at 400 degrees about 10 minutes
