About Oprah's course in Miracles course

Posted on Mar 8, 2008 1:45 AM

I am a Christian who is very disturbed to see such an extremely deceptive course, falsely masquerading as Christianity being promoted by Oprah. There is absolutely nothing Biblical, Godly, or Christian about these courses, quite the contrary indeed! The Bible also makes it VERY CLEAR that we are all sinners who cannot save ourselves and can only be saved by the grace of God by faith alone in Christ alone. And that there is NO OTHER WAY TO GOD EXCEPT THROUGH CHRIST.

Romans 3:23-26 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. {This was} to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, {I say,} of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 14:6-7 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."

John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Phillipians 2:5-10 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

John 12:44 when He said, “He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him (the Father) who sent Me.” He also said in John 5:24, “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”

Therefore, the Lord Jesus taught that to believe in Him is to believe in the Father since the Father sent the Son into the world and the Son reveals the Father (John 1:18). Thus, those who reject Jesus Christ and do not trust in Him as their Savior, are in effect rejecting God the Father, Who sent Jesus into the world to be the Savior of the world. God the Father is the member of the Trinity that separated from His Son, Christ Jesus in His human nature during the last three hours on the Cross as well as imputing Christ's righteousness to the sinner who exercises faith in His Son as Savior. Believing in The Lord Jesus Christ and learning about Him in the Bible is the only way we can truly believe in God the Father and recognize ourselves.

Lord” is the noun kurios, which indicates the following: Jesus of Nazareth’s equality with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. Christ's joint-rulership with God the Father over Earth and the entire universe, including, His highest ranking position as Chief Administrator in the divine government, His absolute sovereign authority as Ruler over all creation and every creature, and His strategic victory over Satan and the kingdom of darkness in the angelic conflict.

In His deity, Jesus Christ is “Lord” (Luke 20:42), however in His human nature He received this title as a result of His obedience to the Father’s will, which called for Him to suffer spiritual death on the cross as a substitute for every member of the human race-past, present and future (Philippians 2:5-11).

Romans 4:24, but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. “From the dead” refers to members of the human race who have died physically.

The foundation of Christianity is built upon the resurrection of Christ since the integrity of our Lord is at issue and as attested by many witnesses He did rise from the dead as He said He would (Acts 1:22; 4:2, 33; 17:18; 23:6; 1 Corinthians 15:14).

The resurrection of Christ is an historical fact of history that can be verified by eyewitnesses: (1) Disciples of Christ (Luke 24:9-11; Acts 1:1-3; 21-22; 2:23-24; 31-32; 3:14-15; 10:39-41; 13:29-39) (2) Roman Guard Protecting the Tomb of Jesus (Matthew 27:62-66; 28:11-15) (3) Enemies of Christ (Matthew 28:11-15; Acts 2).
The resurrection of Christ can be verified by evidence: (1) The Empty Tomb (John 20:2-9) (2) The Stone (Matthew 28:1-4; Mark 16:1-4; Luke 24:2) (3) Seal (Matthew 27:62-66). (4) The Grave Clothes (John 20:2-9) (5) The Roman Guard (Matthew 27:57-60; 28:11-15; Mark 15:42-45; Luke 23:50-52; John 19:38).
(6.) The Silence of the Enemies of Christ at Pentecost (Acts 2) (7) The Transformed Lives of the Disciples of Jesus (8) The Existence of the Christian Church (9) The Observance of the First Day of the Week (Sunday) as the Lord’s Day (10) Christ’s Appearances (500 on more than one occasion: 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Peter 1 Cor. 15:5; 2 on the way to Emmaus Luke 24:13-15; 11 apostles John 20:24-28; Paul Acts 9).

Luke chapter 16 talks about a place called Torments in Hades, where unbelievers will go, after giving an account of their life and their excuses as to why they didn't believe, before being thrown into the Lake of Fire in the second death Revelations 20:14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part {will be} in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Revelation 22:16-20 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star." The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.

Christ, Who is God, communicates to us through His Word, the Bible, not through channeling. According to the Bible, the person that the author, Helen Schucman received her instruction from, was satan, the god of this world, not Christ, Who is God.

1 John 2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

2 Cor 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

1 John 2:1-4 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for {those of} the whole world. By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

2 Peter 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.

ACIM helps us shift our perspective so we can embody the teachings of Christ and raise ourselves to the Christ Consciousness it is not in conflict with Christianity. It is the soul of the teachings of Christ taken beyond the ego and reveals our limited understanding of the scriptures and our interpretation of them.
Blessings to all who choose to raise themselves in love and peaceful being it lifts us all. Oprah has done this on many levels in a wonderful and balanced way, so that we may grow and raise ourselves from our pettiness and into our greatness. I am eternally grateful to her for her work to enlighten us on so many aspects of humanity in all our shame and glory. ACIM is a life changing experience in which you feel ever deeper connection to the Divine, God, Love, whatever we name it.

<ACIM helps us shift our perspective so we can embody the teachings of Christ and raise ourselves to the Christ Consciousness *it is not in conflict with Christianity*> Are you ever being deceived - All of these principles that this course teaches: God is in everything I see. The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself, the oneness of the Creator and the creation is your wholeness, your sanity and your limitless power, The journey to the cross should be the last useless journey, do not make the pathetic error of clinging to the old rugged cross, there is no sin, the Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation.and the Name of Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol... It is a symbol that is safely used as a replacement for the many names of all the gods to which you pray, are completely and totally against the Word of God and The Lord Jesus Christ, Who is God and the only way to God.

This course is anything but Christian, and according to the Bible the instruction for this course does not come from The Lord and only Savior, Jesus Christ, but from satan the god of this world.

Matthew 24:3-5 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what {will be} the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you. "For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many.

Matt 24:11 "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.

Matt 24:23-27 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or 'There {He is,}' do not believe {him.} "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. "Behold, I have told you in advance. "So if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the wilderness,' do not go out, {or,} 'Behold, He is in the inner rooms,' do not believe {them.} "For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

1 John 2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

Matt 17:1-5 Six days later Jesus *took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and *led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, I will make three tabernacles here, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. "While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!"

Matthew 22:41-Matthew 22:4 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question: "What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He?" They *said to Him, "{The son} of David." He *said to them, "Then how does David in the Spirit call Him 'Lord,' saying, 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR FEET"'? "If David then calls Him 'Lord,' how is He his son?" No one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day on to ask Him another question. Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, saying: "The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses; therefore all that they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds; for they say {things} and do not do {them.} "They tie up heavy burdens and lay them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are unwilling to move them with {so much as} a finger. But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in {their} greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; and {if} He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing {them} to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly {lives} thereafter;

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

You are being taught by a false christ. The only way you can be saved and sure that you are going to spend eternity in heaven with God the Father, is to have faith alone in Christ alone, Who is God and our only Savior, according to the Word of God/Mind of Christ/Bible.

Did any of you "Christians" ever stop to think that what if these courses/books/guests opens up Christianity to those who have not examined it before, or reawkens it to some who have lost it?

What if God has intended to use this as a tool to open someone up you steer them away from the very thing God put their for them to do? Are you willing to carry that burden on yourself? Do you REALLY think you know what is best for someone else? I mean REALLY know....not THINK you know? Are you really arrogant enough to claim to know what God's plan for another person is?

Perhaps it's time for you all to put your focus on yourself and not worry about everyone else, because I can pretty much bet none of you are perfect and therefore are no position to be telling others what they should do. I know the more focus I put on myself and growing and improving the more I realize I have absolutely no business telling anyone else what they should be doing with their life.

How can a course that according to God (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) in the Bible, teaches false doctrine about a false christ bring people to The Lord Jesus Christ and have faith alone in Him alone? That makes no sense whatsoever. Christianity is about the saving work of Christ on the Cross on behalf of all of us. Christ died a subsititionary spiritual death for all of our sins, so that anyone who chose to have faith alone in Him, would not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire. Christianity is not religion, which has no power whatsoever to save us, since religion is about elevating man above Christ by wrongly teaching that sinful man can save himself somehow, which is not true:

John 14:6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Matt 10:32-33 "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. "But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 10:37-39 "He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. "He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.

John 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

Galations 1:4 who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

Hebrews 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven {will enter.}

The Lord Jesus Christ created us and the universe and He is the one Who knows best for us (along with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit). It is His words that matter, not mine, and your choice to believe them and believe in Christ and have faith alone in HIm alone or not.

You have two ears and one mouth.....perhaps you should listen twice as much as you speak. At the opening of every ACIM program I am have listened to it is stated that the show and the ACIM are not promoting any particular religion of which Christianity would be included. Therefore if ACIM is not claiming to be a religion or to be promoting a particular religion......then how can it be called a "false teaching". At minimum is is simply a teaching of which there are many on this earth. I still haven't gotten an answer to the repeated question I have asked today about if christianity is the only way why are there 1000's of different sects of christianity all claiming slightly different beliefs? Which one of those "only ways" if the correct "only way"? Why can't you just answer the question? It's a simple question. The avoidance of the question but substituting quotation and recitation of bible verse tells me you can't answer the question w/o sounding like a hypocrit and that your faith is not based on anything but what you've been told to believe.

Instead of condemning and telling everyone they're going to burn in hell why don't you "christians" try to support your point of view with some actual experiences, how your life has been improved by your faith, what it's motivated you to do, blessings you've recieved and so on? Don't you think that would make it more real to people? There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path (to quote a good movie). But so many christians think it's just about "accepting christ and being saved" and thats the end of the story. You can go on being the same a-hole you always were cuz now you're saved. I fail to see how your violent attacks on others' attempts to actually live their faith in a meaning way now, today, in this moment supports your position or is going to attract anyone to your faith. Christianity is supposed to be about "being like Christ", so how is people trying to live better lived NOW a bad thing? Because dont forget....the bible also says "Faith without works is dead." If the only works you can point to as a demonstration of your faith is attacking others' attempt to live better lives.....I think you completely missed the point! If you don't like what is being presented here.......then dont listen...no one is forcing you to....just like I dont stand up in the middle of your sunday church service and start attacking the beliefs being presented.

What I have been presenting to you is not my words or opinions, they are the words of the One Who created you, everyone and the universe. And how to be saved, according to the Bible is faith alone in Christ alone.

Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

It isn't according to any Christian sect, it is according to the Bible/Word of God/Mind of Christ. It is your choice to accept Christ's sacrifice and His free gift of salvation to you or to continue to believe false doctrine that teaches a false christ, and is against God, His Son, theLord Jesus Christ, and His Word in every way.

Luke 16:15 And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.

Luke 6:46 "Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?

And how do you have faith with works? What does the Bible say?

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha.

And how are you suppossed to do those works?

Col 3:17 Whatever you do in word or deed, {do} all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Col 3:23 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men,

And what happens when we do works in our own human power and not Christ's?

1 Cor 3:10-15 According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is {to be} revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

And yet you STILL cannot state your faith to me in YOUR OWN WORDS.....you can't share what it's done for your life, how it's transformed you, and the experiences it's brought to you, and how you manifest Christ-like behavior in your daily life.

You say it's about studying the word of God...yet there are 1000's of sects of Christianity who all study the word of God and all come up with a different interpretation, again remembering those interpretations are also dependent on which translation you use, or which none of us unless we can read the ancient languages they were written in, can be 100% sure are correctly translated.

What I do know is that one's faith should have a transformative effect on their life now, today, in this moment and that fact that none of you Christian pitbulls can actually share one bit of your DAILY faith or answer direct questions in these discussions just tells me your faith is empty and hollow. And you expect that to attract people to Christianity?

Christianity as a whole has blood and sins on it's hands that have massed up to the heavens.....and it is blind faith and intolerance such as displayed here by you and others that is at the root of such sins. Works alone will not save, but faith w/o works is dead. Some people choose to be "saved" and then sit back and do nothing, others choose to actually try and live a Christ-like life today. Leave them alone and mind your business.

What is my purpose as a Christian for being on this board and presenting the Truth of the only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ from the Word of God?

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin {to be} sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Rom 1:14-15 I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

Romans 1:16-21 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it {the} righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS {man} SHALL LIVE BY FAITH." For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

According to what God says in the Bible, I am an abassador of His only Son and our only Savior in this world, The Lord Jesus Christ, through the power of God the Holy Spirit, not my own dead, useless human power, and not to please men or tickle their ears with useless nonsense that they want to hear (i.e. this course that teaches false doctrine about a false christ, religion (including this course in miracles) which teaches legalism or mankind's futile attempt to gain salvation, spirituality, or the approbation of God through man's own efforts, and the media).

1 Thessalonians 2:3-6 For our exhortation does not {come} from error or impurity or by way of deceit; but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts. For we never came with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed--God is witness--2:6 nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, even though as apostles of Christ we might have asserted our authority.

And again, why do I use God's words (God the Father, God the Son, The Lord and only Savior in this word, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit's)? God says in the Bible:

Isaiah 55:11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding {in the matter} for which I sent it.

In other words, I am not here to either make you feel good or try and convince you of the Truth because the Truth stands, whether you choose to believe in Christ and have faith alone in Him alone or not. As a Christian, it is not my job to try and convince you of the Truth, only present the Truth to you, and you make your own decision. I am also not going to water down the truth and say what you want me to say because that is not Truth.

If I had not personally experienced the Truth of God's Word myself and how God is always faithful to me, even when I fall and am faithless to Him, I would not be here, presenting the Truth to you, whether you believe it or not. Yes, I can tell you from personal experience in my life that God's Word is very True, but I am not here to give you the subjective Truth of God's Word in my life, but the objective Truth. Why? Again, I am not here to make you go Rah! Rah! and make you feel good about being a Christian. That is NOT what the Christian life is all about! I am here to be an ambassador of Christ and to correctly present Him to you, as I am like everyone else on this world, BELIEVER OR NON-BELIEVER in Christ, accountable to God (God the Father, God the Son, Christ Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit), if I misrespresent Christ or God.

John 7:16-18 So Jesus answered them and said, "My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. "If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or {whether} I speak from Myself. "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

I am not here for my own glory (that is religion, elevating man above Christ, Who is God), but for Christ's glory, so I will not be giving any more of a testimony of myself than I already have because again, it may make you feel good, but it won't teach you a thing about Christ, and Christ is the issue, not man (religion). It is NOT how you feel that matters or about feeling good that matters, it is only what God says in the Bible that matters and what you think about Christ that matters. Why? Because all of us have an eternal soul and what you think about Christ is going to determine whether you spend eternity in heaven with God or eternal life in the lake of fire with satan, who is the god of this world. It is your thinking that matters, not your feelings.

So now, back to business. In continuing with untamed72's question about works, I found another verse in the Bible that tells us again about what God thinks about our human deeds, even the best human deeds with the best intentions, done under human power and not God's power. I am going to give you both the verse and a translation too for emphasis on what God thinks as oppossed to what man thinks.

Isaiah 64:6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Is 64:6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
