Saturday, Oct. 6th, SLIPPER CAMP, aka OctoberFAST

Posted on Oct 6, 2007

Good morning Campers! :D Boy, it took FOREVER to get to this page, today! Everything is veeeeery slow. First, congratulations to Cindy for reaching the 150s! Yeah!! Today, my calves are still sore from the run! Thank you everyone for your congratulations on that! I couldn't believe I did it, myself. Lori, yes it is an adrenaline rush to climb the Eiffel Tower. I get a rush everytime I climb stairs like that...to the top of something special. I will do the Eiffel on behalf of everyone in Slipper Camp. Yesterday, I didn't have much sleep, so I did my floor exercises only. So, today it's the weights. My routine is divided into three parts, three exercises each, three sets each. Easy to remember! Tomorrow, I will tackle my run, again, and hope my calves aren't aching. PS Mimi, if nurses were to ask me my pain number, I would probably throw them off by saying "pi", but meaning "pie". ;)

Good Morning My Friends,

We've had company from out of town all week and I've been on the go, go, go....

Last weekend, we went to a Church Festival and walked around for hours. There was alot of music, food, wine and the works, but here's the best part. One of the band members knew how to play Arabic Music and he dragged me and my sister in law on stage to Belly Dance. There was hundreds of people there and they all stood around clapping for us. It was great fun!!

Mimi, it's so good to see you here and... to answer your question: Yes...I still do the Belly Dancing every chance I get. It's a great exercise and it's FUN!

I'm on my way to the Gym, but thought I would pop in for a minute. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Love to all........Freeda~ PS...GO COWBOYS!!

Hi All-

Cidy-yu wrote-Donna ~ What Mimi said about the teeter pounds. I wonder if anyone ever reaches a point where they wake up every day weighing the same thing. 130 to 135 is perfect for you. You really do look great there. Even 140 would just be a warning weight for you... relax hun... you are doing amazing.

Thank you dear. Youarethe best. Congtrats on the 150's darlin. I am soproud o you and I sincerely mean that. I was at 136 this am. Got into he bread and granola bars last night but stopped whenI felt full. Its all soluable fibre so I'l poop it out.

Mimi, I have lots to say to yu but just cant deal with hi keyboard right now. I'm ging to return it and git another. There was one for 50.00 but I opted fpr 12.97 and this is what I get. Will do my chores nd pop in later. I'm thinking its not even the keyboard vause its doing the same thng as myother onebut this really is a chep one.
