Mandybobo---- If you're a person who subscribes to 'the pre-tribulation' Rapture theory, then I don't understand how you have arrived at thinking that Barack Obama could be the anti-Christ.The anti-Christ will not be revealed until after the rapture has already occurred. And there are many people who have been selected as candidates for being the anti-Christ from U.S. politicians and world leaders to Hollywood actors, and I have gotten some really good laughs out of the different possibilities suggested, but I believe none of them are ---- and that includes Barack Obama. Thanks.

I don't think he is that, but i don't trust him, and don't understand why he is running for President of the united states when he wont salute the American flag.

Perhaps he considers it a form of idolatry.

Perhaps he considers saluting a political icon like that smacks more of fascism and contrary to American Ideals.

There will be many anti-christs before the second comming. And we have been in the last days since Jesus' transfiguration. That's 2000 years ago. Only the Fathers knows when the second comming is and furthermore, Jesus doesn't even know when he is going to return, not the day not the hour, so how would the pope know, he's just a man, born no different than anyother man.

I still can't understand how people still believe this stuff. How people believe that every word in the bible is fact..that's actually funny..
I think if I Christ had a choice to come back on this earth again he would chose not to..because people are as insane as they were 2500 years ago (if not more). He would be crucified again by all the so called religious people. He would come back preaching against the church and how they misinterpret what he said and every so called religious person would be ready to crucify him and call him the anti-christ because he is not saying the same exact thing that is in bible. I think Jesus is smarter than that and he is better off staying where he's at.
sometimes i think humanity is a lost cause.

and what is the ultimate cause of this? It's not religion or a building, but rather people focusing on one thing...me. People too wrapped up in themselves (pride, predjudice, ignorance, etc) and not reaching out to others in love, when there is a need.

Sorry to offend you, or whatever it was that I said that offended you. I don't totally disagree with you. Yes, the "religious" people of Jesus times crucified him. Being religious and being a Christian are 2 different things. I do think the "Church" has done a poor job of being a church though.

Religious people? It was the Roman government that crucified him (for insurrection).

oakdragon ---- Maybe what she is thinking of is when Pontius Pilate, the Roman Governor, allows the Jews to choose to either let Barabbas go free, or to permit Jesus to go free. It was a custom at Passover to release a prisoner of the crowd's own choosing. But yes, it was the Romans who crucified Jesus, and in particular, Pontius Pilate. ---Cat

It looks like you've fallen for the lies being spread about him.

Since I first heard about this controversy, I've done some research on the issue. The controversial photo was taken on September 16, 2007, at Senator Tom Harkin's annual steak fry festivities in Iowa. You can find it on Time Magazine's website. Contrary to the viral e-mails attacking Obama for disrespecting the flag, the candidates were not reciting the pledge of allegiance. They were standing for the national anthem. If you look closely, none of the candidates are reciting anything.

Technically, all of the candidates in that photo were in violation of Title 36 since they all had their backs to the flag during the anthem.

There are actually plenty of photos of Obama reciting the Pledge in public with his hand over he heart.

Do not fall for the lies.
