At first I was envious of Oprah's pick and enthusiasm of "A New Earth." Some may say I am being egotistical here, but I have wanted to be a part of the awakening on the grand scale for a long time. I have been working on a book for several years. It is a spiritual guidebook- within it a process for transformation and awakening. But- I am a mother. I have had lots of doubt and distraction to work through- so needless to say it isn't me creating the big spiritual tidal wave that is now approaching. It is Oprah and Eckhart- and I can say I am happy it is happening. This isn't about me and my ego- but about what I wanted for others when I began to write my book- awakening. It thrills me that this is happening, but here is what I think will happen next. Like Eckhart says in his book- it is not a book giving more ideas and beliefs- it is a book that will shift our consciousness. These are not just simple words. This book and all that is going with it, is having a huge impact on all of us- and for those to whom this spiritual talk has been normal- we are saying "hallelujah" for it is about time we have people we can talk to. However for others, to whom this is all a bit foreign, or to whom have spent much of their time working, making a living, raising kids- this is going to put them in a big spiritual process, that for some might not look or feel all that enlightening. When you plant a seed- which this book does- that is full of spiritual truth and wisdom- and it resonates with the truth and wisdom within our souls- yes it feels good- but for most of us- our souls are filled with illusions- belief structures- chaos- EGO and so on- and in order for the truth to truly set us free- those things which obstruct now must be healed, removed, transformed. This is where the true spiritual work begins. This is where many will be for many years- and for those of us who are healers, teachers, coaches, therapists interested in assisting others- WOW- this is our time. We get to help the transition from illusion to truth, from prison to freedom, to despair to beauty- and this book is the beginning. Now the real work happens- so light workers get ready.
