I watched the show today and also went through a divorce. My child had a great relationship with his DAD but he decided to leave and start a new life. My child was 16 at the time and went through some very hard times due to Dad not talking to him. I couldn't even call him to get help with our child. I had to go through his attorney which cost me everytime I would call my attorney to talk to his attorney. His new girlfriend wouldn't let us call her home or call on the cell phone since it was in her name. Our son is now a adult and still doesn't have his life in order. I would like to see more shows on how a divorce effects the family break up. I went for counseling but my son refused to go for help. This was hard even on my older child which was married and not living at home. I was married over 25 years and starting over and trying very hard to keep things together with the children. Divorce you loose your friends, my family didn't know how to help me, financially was hard, didn't know where I was going to live. It was so uncertain for the future. I almost lost my job due to not being able to think straight on my job. Divorce is like a death in the family. I felt so helpless not being able to help my son. He never got in trouble until after his father left. Your show bought tears to my eyes today for these children of divorce.
