Hello All,
I was curious about the topic, so I checked in to see what this WalMart thing was all about. I had not heard about it. I still don't 'know'
the details only what I read here . . . but, came to me was. . .?" . . . MORE THOUGHT, TRYING to 'figure it out'?. . . my experience is that the real KNOWING/WISDOM, and subsequent ACTION or INACTION, comes out of BEING, not out of more 'thought forms'. That is my experience . . . when I am 'in flow' as I call it; when Source is just 'moving me' ; and that could even take me to WalMart! WHO knows ???? That is the question I ask myself, "Who wants to know this?" and then just Be Still . . . and see what happens . . . more thoughts . . . silence . . . ?? . . . a letgo . . . . .???
Anyone open to experimenting with that ? ![]()
Love and peace ......

May you be blessed many times over for starting this great thread!! And, isn't it interesting that it hasn't attracted the Bible-thumping fans?! Blessings to all who read this post...:-) from whatever 'religion'' they adhere to. Suzi

"Believing in the bible" and "bible thumping" are two very different things
There is always that hope. Walmart's latest strategy is to get involved in the banking business. Their credit card business is rife with hidden charges, where they plague upon the poor and uneducated, so I'd hazard a guess that they would be less than 100% forthcoming in revealing the costs to those who might seek mortgages and other types of loans. WalMart has a history of abuses of employees, and personally, I'd rather not shop there - ever. So, reading ANE won't make me change my WalMart shopping experience, what with developing anxiety and PTSD by simply being approached by one of their "greeters." I won't shop there any more, or any less (which - is nigh onto impossible, since my shadow never crosses the threshold.)
I worked in a big box home improvement store once, management would berate and belittle people every day. Every morning they would give speaches about how much money we need to make on sales and ways to push products, its all about money. The never give credit for anything you do but always find fault. There wasnt much joy working there ,except for the customers. I now work for a small family compony, and what a different energy.
Haha! Maybe we should start a WalMart ANE book club. You just go to the local WM, "borrow" some highlighters, "borrow" som chairs, "borrow" some books and sit around and have a nice chat! Since there's a WM in every town (some are lucky enough to have 3 or more!) they could be a nation wide phenomenon!
Kathy, thanks for your post! More and more in this country it is about the bottom line. People are becoming commodities for the rich to be used and tossed aside. This is one of the reasons I don't shop at big box stores. Not only do they get cheap products made using what amounts to slave labor overseas (rather than paying people here to do it) they don't provide living wages or health care for the people who work in their stores here.
I missed the documentary on walmart, do you know if it's archived somewhere? I would like to watch it.
As a person of limited income at times I shop there frequently and heard some of the negative talk of walmart.
I'm thinking about changing...everything I pick uo in there is from CHINA...what ever happened to the goodole' USA products?
