When I came to this country 16 years ago from India, newly married and away from my family for the first time, the Cosby Show became my family. The way Cosby and his wife (Phillysiaa Rashad ) expressed love and respect to each other and communicated to their children and their loving relationship to their parents and raising children with values is something I would always remember. I was very sad when the show ended a year later and found comfort watching the reruns. I am happy to hear that, even after the show ended, all the cosby kids are doing well. It would have been nice to have Phyllisia Rashad on the show.

I so enjoyed the Cosby kids today. I am curious what happened to Lisa Vonet? She was absent from the last Cosbt reunion show I've seen. Was there some kind of rift? O Pugh

Oprah said that Lisa just had a baby and couldn't make it but she wanted to. I wish Phylicia and the two actors that played Sondra and Denise's husbands would have been on too.

I did enjoy the segment with The Cosby kids but was disappointed that Geoffrey Owens who portrayed "Elvin" on The Cosby Show was not included with the others. It was mentioned that Lisa Bonet could not attend, but no mention of Geoffrey Owens -- even though he was shown in a clip. It would have been nice seeing him sitting alongside his TV wife, "Sandra", played by Sabrina Lebouef. He was always my favorite and not long ago, I saw him perform in a play in Los Angeles with Al Pacino. Too bad.....

I loved the Cosby show and I was looking forward to this episode of Oprah but for the life of me I can't understand why they didn't have the whole hour! It just didn't make any sense to mix the Cosby kids with David Cassidy. There was so much more I wanted to know! I'm so disappointed in Oprah. The Cosby Show was too important in Black t.v. history for it to get a corner of a show.

When I was about 12 or 13 I first listened to the Bill Cosby record "To Russell My Brother Whom I Slept With." I thought he must have been looking through the windows of our house! It never dawned on me that there was a color difference. There was no heart difference. Later, when The Cosby Show was announced, I just knew it would be my favorite show and of course, it was. What I didn't understand at the time, but which Mr. Cosby just articulated during the show, is that is demonstrated the kind of family values that we needed then and now. Thank you so much for such a wonderful contribution to humanity.
