The Cosby's

Oprah, I just have to say it has taken me almost a year to sign up but finally I've done it. I dont get to watch your show often unless I get home before 7pm. I caught the Cosby kids today and I love, love, love the kids, Claire, Heathcliff and my all time favorite...Kenny or better known as Bud as Rudy would call him. And Rudy I just loved Rudy. O, I am not big on talk shows but your show (which I am sure you hear often) I enjoy so much and on the rare occassions that I get home early enough to catch the 4pm episode you always put a smile on face or touch my heart. I dont know how you do it but keep doing it. ARob

This show was GREAT! I was flipping channels and noticed the Cosby's and had to stop. I was a fan as a kid and after working in a predominately black school I had the idea of using the Cosby show as "Character Education". The Cosby Show is full of character building lessons and I wish I could buy ALL schools (or atleast target schools) a set of the Cosby Show so that it might be used to teach our students the timeless morals, ethics, style, and history that the show depicts. It wouldn't be hard to create lesson plans to go along with show and with a little extra video finessing, someone could introduce specific episodes and discuss the "moral of the story" afterwards. How GREAT would it be if today's students could learn to be more like the Cosby's!

My thought: As a half Italian, half Filipina-German, American woman, born and raised in Illinois, now 30 years old with 3 wonderful kids; 14, 9, and 4 years old, The Cosby show was equally needed and cherished by me as well! I LOVE Mr. Cosby, Ms. Felecia Rashad, and all the awesome Cosby kids......I am grateful for this show and it's impact on obviously not just myself. I've purchased all the seasons of the Cosby show on DVD and my children our addicted too....in good, pure, family life and fun, through the Huxtabules, I felt hope, kindness, and I saw the future Mother and family that I someday wanted and felt I could also have...no matter what I came from....or not matter the color of anybody's skin. People are people....all equal....we don't hear enough of this I feel in today's world...................... HOPE+COSBY= television genius and fun education for my kids today too! Yeah!
P.S. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY THE COSBY SHOW EPISODES ON DVD FOR THEIR CHILDREN ASAP....enjoy and awesome family night with some popcorn! Cheers! Peace & Love to all!

There is nothing about this show I do not like. As a young girl growing up in the caribbean, apart from cartoons The Cosby show was all I watch. Seeing the way the family interact was comforting to me. The rules and values Cliff and Clair sat were no different than those of my mother. Phylicia Rashad was and still is my role model , nothing pleases me more to hear her say"my baby".
