He was an American icon. A genius musician. The world mourned and is still coping with the death of Michael Jackson. For the first time since he passed away, Oprah speaks about where she was and how she felt when she heard the tragic news.

Sorry if my post was confusing.

The "video" is just a 3:46-minute clip of Man In the Mirror segment in TII. The quality is good.

It's on youtube.

Since there's been no new posting since Sunday a.m., thought I'd better do my part of Oprah would either remove this blog site for non-activity or the O censorship committee would get bored. LOL.

on thedailybeast, there is a good interview of Sandrine Orabona, one of the two videographers of TII and also a video clip of an interview of Judith Hill. Her mention of MJ and his laughing at her big hair while saying "God bless you" made me laugh.

Also, was very thrilled to hear that Sony will include "Stranger in Moscow" in the TII DVD. One of MJ's many, many great songs.

LOL, you are right, we cannot have O removing our blog. How else would I have known about Janet Jackson on Primetime, or Kenny Ortega being on Oprah, or the Dailybeast. I rely on here my my updates. They are so many things I would have missed. I have a question about the law for you I will PM it.

"We could have shown more behind- the-scenes stuff, but Kenny felt strongly that Michael would have wanted to include more songs for the fans," said Key

Sounds to me like they could be a part 2. At least a direct to DVD.

According to Sandrine Orabona, the videographer for TII, there's a lot of footage other than what's used in TII. I read somewhere that there are plans for more DVDs (ie, This Is Also It) - LOL. I would love to see all of the footage because people can learn so much from MJ's creative process. He was so prodigiously talented that his throw away is the best of some of today's "talents".

Hello all! Haven't posted in a few days. School has been crazy! I missed you all. So my sister is coming in and we are going to see TII again. I am so excited! I also asked her about some of the laws surrounding leaking photos of the autopsy. (She has just taken part of her boards, not quite a lawyer yet) She said that an autopsy should be covered under many different legal privacy acts, one big one being HIPPA. This protects ALL medical documents and can only be released with permission by the patient. So, pretty much, unless MJ's estate holder's or family released this info, someone should be held Legally and morally responsible. i have searched the internet and can't find such pictures, but if this is true it's just a sad reminder of how far this world's morality still has to go. In all honestly i'm glad for MANY reasons that I didn't find these said pictures. For one, I'm hoping that means that they don't exist and for two, I think I might have officially lost it if I would have seen that. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about it! Well since I have a few spare moments I am going to try to continue my education in the life and legacy of the awe-inspiring MJ.

LOVE u all!

Glad to hear you'll be taking in TII again, with your sister. I still haven't made it to my second viewing yet and I am anxious to go as I know I missed alot on the first viewing.

The two crazy doctors who made a fortune doing MJ's plastic surgery are dueling it out on TMZ, and Joe-crazy-Jackson is now claiming MJ's 2002 will is invalid because of fraud on the part of the two executors. Gosh ... can't they just leave TII as MJ's lasting legacy, and not drag his name into all these other ugly stuff! His poor kids.

Michael Jackson may have been generous but he was a sick man. I think it is reprehensible that he brought 3 children into his sordid mess. He was a selfish man. Now they, his children cough will have to live with their "father's" eye roll dirty legacy. What is wrong with you everyone. Open your eyes, he acted inappropriately with children. Michael was a master manipulator. There were 2 sides of Michael Jackson. His public image which you all seem to eat up and then there's his darker side perhaps the real Michael; a dirty old man who was a drug addict that preferred the company of pre-pubscent boys. Sick. I'm glad the his movie didn't do well.

I believe he urinated in front of other people because he was that sick.

The movie is not doing well? Excuse me, but it has already taken in about 200 million worldwide so far. It is on the road to making the 250 million mark. Please get your facts straight before you make a comment. Go to Boxoffice mojo website to check this for yourself.

Is it Paul or Paula? Little matter. It seems to me whenever you read something negative about MJ you come crawling back here to make a useless point. I think it is reprehensible that you mention his 3 children at all. From ALL accounts those children were loved, well brought up, intelligent, polite and Godly. If you think Michael Jackson's fans have any intention of letting those children be subjected to nasty commentary without serious rebuttal think again. Those children were better adjusted than most Hollywood kids.

Michael Jackson wanted to save all the children in the world from hardship. He thought if adults were kinder to children then the world wouldn't be so screwed up. Maybe he was right, but being a skeptic I believe the world will always have haters and instigators.

Let's not mix words. Michael Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges in a court of law by his peers. For you and your ilk to be calling him a dirty old man is tantamount to SLANDER which is against the law. Yes, he had a substance abuse problem, and for anyone who has ever tried to quit smoking knows how difficult it is to overcome a chemical dependency. Still, In the This Is It movie I did not see a junkie, but an exceptional artist working on honing his craft, and bringing the best out of others around him.

You can believe all the tabloid stories floating around out there, I'm sure your appetite will be satisfied for years to come. For someone who dislikes Michael Jackson the way you obviously do, you are strangely & overly fascinated by his life & death. By the way, I will not be responding to you anymore in the future a fond adieu.

I would like to know where you get your information, If is from the tabloid media then I feel sorry for you. Did you witness all the things you said about MJ, did you talk to him, or did you just say since you don't like the man anything negative they say about him is true. You ask us what is wrong with us, with all due respect there is nothing wrong with us, you should look at yourself in the mirror and ask the same question. We are not the one putting judgment on a deseed person, we are not the one mentioning innocent kids, we are not the one writing hatful words simply because a so called friend decided to cash in on his friend's who by the way is not here to defend himself You should look at all the evidence that has been presented very eloquently and then you can start an intelligent debate, we will be here. We don't slimly come here and write whatever we want we do our research since the media won't do the news the honest way we decided to arm ourselves with knowledge and spread the truth period! Like our friend Maggie always says knowledge is power. If you are interested in hating I am sorry this is not the forum.

Hello everybody,

I have been away, was gone on a mini trip, missed being here, thank you longafter for keeping us informed you are wonderful, I miss Maggie, did anyone hear any news, if you did please let us know how she is doing, Judith Hill did a beautiful tribute for MJ ,it is on you tube check it out if you haven't already it is great Susan I know what you mean part 2 would be great idea after all we can't get enough of MJ. Oprah by the way I was at the local grocery store this morning and I saw tabloid magazine with your name and Gale's on it at the checkout stand, I didn't even want to read what the title said, even thought I didn't like the way you treated MJ, I don't believe for a second what they write about you. You see Oprah if you see it on a magazine or on movie screen don't make it factual. My philosophy is until I hear it from your own mouth I don't believe a word they say. I hope one day you will give the people that know MJ real well, people that have been in the court room day in day out the opportunity to tell their side of the story, his humanitarian, his love for the planet, and his years of dedication for sick children all over the world. You have the power, you can show what a kind and decent human being he was, despite of all these lies that keep coming out every day. I am still waiting for that day to happen, it would be a great gift for all MJ fans, his kids, his mother and his family. Christmas is coming Oprah LOL!!!!! We have heard enough from the so called friends that are cashing in, with friends like that who needs an enemy.

Going by your gloating that "his movie didn't do well", it is clear that your opinion of all things MJ is not based on facts but on undistilled acceptance of tabloid "reportings". The highest grossing "concert"/documentary in history is not doing well? Even the tabloids don't make this claim ... and TII continues to sell, even though it is not even a real concert film, just rehearsal footage.

Likewise, you choose to ignore the fact that MJ was found not guilty in a court of law. Long after the pain and humiliation of a trial, the lasting damage done to MJ - and all falsely accused by so-called "victims" - is that even after a court has vindicated the accused, the taint of these allegations remain.

Your assertions that MJ is a "dirty old man", his "darker side" and "master manipulator" are based on what? Tabloids? Comments from a so-called "friend" who has done nothing but betrayed him since his death, a doctor who has violated sacred patient-physician confidentiality, to say nothing of federal laws?

You can roll your eyes all you want when you refer to MJ as the father of the beautiful children he left behind. Even if DNA proves that MJ is not their biological father - something that is far from a certainty - in their now sad and broken hearts, the man they love and miss, the one who raised, nurtured and guided them, is MJ. That is what true fatherhood/parenthood means, not biology.

For those who hate MJ, who grasp at every bit of negative tabloid junk as fuel to further their bizarre hatred/obsession, no amount of facts or reason would change their mind. They are unreachable, as their hatred has closed their mind tighter than a steel trap, and any attempt to engage in a discourse with them is a waste of time and energy.

There is nothing wrong with us who love and appreciate MJ but there is plenty wrong with haters. It must be hard to be them, so filled with negative, judgmental energy and hatred, yet so obsessed at the same time with the source of their hatred. Reply Forward
