My brother Tim is a retired military veteren who served our country with honor. His beautiful daughter Katie married this young man named Rob. I had no idea my sweet little niece Katie married such a talented kid! Rob, you are such a great inspiration to so many young adults. Please stay focused and know that I love and care for both of you. Katie and you are such a cute and loving couple. I could'n't be prouder of you kids. Rob, your mother and father-in-law Tim have every right to brag on such wonderful kids. I want you both to know how proud I am and I look forward to your success. I am so happy to have you as a part of our family, I love you both, Uncle Ken

I WISH YOU WOULD PUT ''HOOTIE' on the judging panel and would have had him help out to selecting the 8 finalists! He saw the light and made the transition into Country and away from the "Blowfish"! We would have had more of a true representation of Karaoke venues across the country!

To those of you that are responding with whining, negative comments...just be happy for these fortunate eight contestants that are blessed with enough talent to have been selected for this challenge. The fact that they were chosen out of thousands of others is a testimony to their incredible gifts. I wish them all the best...especially Mr. Weddle who does look like a school teacher...I worked within a school district for over 20 years...and sounds like a professional rock star, great voice. Good luck, good job....and to all of you that can't seem to say anything nice...the world needs more examples and less critics.

Enjoyed so many of the contestants. A few of them need to realize they have to make the song they choose "their own" and not be a copycat. Tara is an example of this. She needs to put more of herself into the song. Definitely has talent and stage presence.

Kritina had too many bad note/pitch problems. I winced too many times when she didn't hit certain notes. Needs more training.

Matthew wasn't stong enough connecting with the audience but has a great sound. I see him more as a lounge club singer.

Donnie is fantastic. I felt his emotion to the song and he has a wonderful voice. I would buy his CD right now!

Rob truly rocks but his image needs to change. He doesn't look the part. Great talent.

Abraham took me to a very special place. He worked the audience and has a great voice. Very soothing and mesmerizing. I would also buy his CD today!

Grace needed to showcase more of her vocal range. She stayed in the low register too much. She has talent but I don't just want to hear a low register in tone. Did the song well.

Anna rocked the Elvis song. Has great talent and stage presence. I felt her emotion. I would buy her CD too.

A couple people have mentioned that rob needs to change his style, and I have to disagree!!

What do you want? Leather pants and a metal band dingy t-shirt?? Ewww!

Don't change a thing (schoolteacher) Rob!! Geek is so chic!

In our area we missed the first singer completely because of the special report.

While all the performances were good, Grace was by far the best performer today. She chose the mose difficult song to sing and pulled it off beautifully . I hope she takes Billy Ray up on his offer to fly to Nashvile for a record contract. Great job Grace !

You do have a great voice- I enjoyed your recording of Broken Wing. I'm glad I didn't bother waisting my time trying to compete in this contest.

I watched the show and thought that a few of the selected individuals did quite well. However, I was very disappointed to see that the group was primarily of a younger age group and wasn't quite as extraordinary to have been selected. Besides, was the age of 39 the cutoff age? It seemed to be American Idol all over again! Also, I thought that this challenge would have offered a better variety of seeing individuals performing other types of music as well. After all, isn't that what karaoking is about; a selection of differing varieties of music? MY

Once again, the powers that be have chosen those with former music careers and havent really aimed at "virtual nobody's" that should get discovered.

What show were you watching?!?!?! Journey is rock, Elvis was the King of Rock, last I checked, Maroon 5 was not an R&B band, and while Leona Lewis is half black, she is not an R&B singer. She's as top 40 pop as they come. You probably would not have been happy unless there were no soul or R&B songs.
