I, too was introduced to Mad Men through Gayle's show. I bought the first season, but haven't seen all of season 2.
(Hard to get all episodes on line). I've watched all of season 3 and was sad to watch the season finale. Although we've
been lead along this season to see the downward spiral of Don Draper, I was surprised to see the end of Sterling Cooper
as we know it. I'm looking forward to seeing where the reworked executives take the new agency next season. Also,
can we really believe that's the end of Betty and Don? And finally, do we know if there is a plan for seasons beyond 4?
I guess I'll just patiently wait for FX's Damages with Glenn Close and then Season 4 of Mad Men.
Last night we watched the season finale of Mad Man (on PVR) and agree with all that you have said. Betty and Don??? As much as I hate that Don has cheated on Betty and I do want to see her happy, I never thought she was going to go through with it and Henry Francis, he seems so good for her? He seems too good to be true.
If you really want to be hooked by Damages, I suggest you watch the first season - it's available on line - and then you'll
be hooked! It's loaded with star power, great acting, edgy (?) story line, and finally, superb writing. If you do, I'd love to hear
your take on it.
