I am 63 years old and have NEVER penciled in my brows. I feel they are too thin however, everyone tells me to leave them alone. I color my gray hair (medium dark) and have highlights. Do you think I need to lightly color them in?? I originally had black hair and now it is a lighter shade with redish dark highlights.

Hi, I'm an aesthetician and I have clients for whom I tint their eyebrows on a regular basis. It looks better than penciling them in and lasts about 3 to 4 weeks. Having said that, my question is: Do you feel your brows are too thin or that the hair is too sparse? If the hair is too sparse you may need to use a combination of tinting and brow pencil to fill in the gaps. Hope this helps, Ali Actions
