I just listened, on XM radio, to the interview Oprah had with Larry Dossey M.D. re: the power of prayer and how this is being taught at 90 or so medical schools as having great validity...again an example of the blending of science and spirituality...bravo again to Oprah!...this brought to mind a book that Larry Dossey endorsed as giving an "inspiring picture of the non-local, infinite, eternal nature of Consciousness.This is affirmed not only by ancient wisdom, but is emerging as well in several areas of science." This book is by Peter Francis Dziuban, and is entitled, "Consciousness Is All (Now Life Is Completely Different)"...this is written entirely from the point of view of Consciousness itself...quite the book...also, I'm looking forward to a coming book by Dziuban called, "So Be It: How the Nature of Being Answers the Biggest Questions in Science Today"...looks like a good one...Dziuban will help clarify any outstanding issues you might have re: Consciousness...highly recommended reading!!! peace, habsonfire

...just checking in and as you said, feeling centered...loving the autumn, beautiful, although a tad on the cool side...hey!...must be global warming (smile)...I've been communicating with Peter...things are 'going' well...good to hear your mom is fine...prayers are evidently working (smile)...I'm gearing up for hockey season and the pure joy of living here in The Great White North...thanks to Bob and Doug MacKenzie!
ps...as long as I have access to a computer, this thread refuses to die...just going back through the pages makes me smile in appreciation...

Hello Again Dear Bob, Peter & Everyone Else,
I hope that you all are doing very well!!!
Bob.. I sent you a PM earlier today, but don't be concerned about replying any time soon, as I will be away for awhile, at least a week or longer... I'll be staying at a Dear Girl Friend's Home, which I truly appreciate... so it will be easier to travel to see my Mom.
As a few of you Sweet Souls probably already know by now, my Dear Mom has had a sudden drastic change in her 'Health Situation' and is currently bedridden, unable to speak clearly, and is now on oxygen... and she requires a lot of care.
My Mom was recently moved to a new Nursing Home and she's receiving extremely good care, around the clock... her past Nursing Home wasn't able to provide my Mom with enough services... so this is a very comforting change of events.
Anyway... my Mom's Doctors have said that she has taken a severe downward turn... which is all apart of the 'Up & Down Cycles' of her 'Health Conditions.'
My Dear Mom's 'Will To Live' is still very strong... so who knows what will happen... as she's come back again, and again, and again, over the past 6 months since her Heart Attack in June 09... my Dear Mom was expected to Pass Away 6 months ago, but she didn't.
I still feel 'So Truly Blessed' to spend this time with My Dear Beloved Mom... on this 'Earthy Plane of Existence.'
Please continue to keep my Dear Beloved Mom in your 'Beautiful Loving Prayers & Sweet Blessings' and please continue to send... Me & My Family... your 'Sweet, Supportive, Loving Thoughts & Wishes'... Thank You, Sincerely, Everyone.
Be Well... And Continue To Enjoy The Holiday Season... With Plenty Of Pure Sweet Love, Love, Love... Everyone!!!

As some of you Beautiful Souls already know... my Dear Beloved Mother Passed Away on Tuesday, January 05, 10, at the age of 87... after 6 Months of ‘Severe Challenges' with ‘Congestive Heart Failure & Several Other Health Issues.'
Many of your 'Exquisite Loving Words'... have brought me to 'Tears of Truth' and 'Tears of Love'... so many times... Thank You!!!
It's been a challenging week for me... although my 'Heart Overflows' with 'Love & Strength' as my Beloved Mother's Beautiful Spirit and 'All Beautiful Loving Energy' surrounds me... which is so very 'Comforting, Soothing, Protecting, Harmonious, Peaceful, Joyous, & Lovely... and is so enormously appreciated, at this time of 'Grieving'... and this time of 'Loving Remembrance'... as well as this time of 'Beautiful Celebration of Eternal Love.'
I have been, and I am still, a wee bit exhausted... but I am holding up okay.
I 'Truly Know' that my Mother's Beautiful Spirit is near... and I feel my Mother's Eternal Loving, Joyous, Peaceful, Spirit each and every day, along with the 'Pure Unconditional Love' of so many other Beautiful Lovely Loving Souls.
