I love cooking and there is nothing like a home filled with homemade meals. i also love to decorate and paint. My children's rooms are painted in fun colors but I love the mural in my child's room. It depicts a field of no fences only the open air and a river flowing in the center of the wall surrounded by trees, flowers, laughing, playing, happy children! The way life should be for all! It's very peaceful! I though do not have a green thumb but I wish I did! The backyard still needs much work. Your home sounds like a rainbow of happiness!! Thanks for sharing! Much love to you!!!

Our home is our reflection...my house is painted with ivory white,, childrens rooms like the way they want it,, blue and pink curtains and beds for balance...

i love collecting brasses,, im collecting sets of brass boxes, mixed with silvers..anything with brass on it. but i have pure brass vases,,and lamps,,mirrors, frames and those kind of stuff..

¿ just transfered lately to my new house and i got busy cleaning it my brasses, frames,,,... ¿ love the color maroon and gold...white and silver..greens and violet..My bed room i bought violets and lavenders,,,white and golds...

my bath room green and reds...my living room marron and gold, my sofas marron and gold prints...and brass as the decor everywhere...hehehehe funny but this is me..

my kitchen yellow and oranges... Walls all ivory whites......i love the white for its purity...the boldness, the simplicity

Theres no place like home...its the place where we can be who we really are.. its the home that witness it all.. the love the peace and harmony,, finally bless to have transfer after the 1and half year of waiting...

it was worth it,, i were able to plan for things perfectly just the way i want it , without rush....things happen for a reason...thanks god.. for everything ... Thank you for your post balance love it...

I don't even know if I can describe to you the colors I've painted my kitchen......3 walls are "Terrazzo Tan" it's like a light Carmel color mixes with warm Terra cotta color with an underlying bright Burnt Orangish a nice gloss/shine of Behr Semi Gloss. I really love it, the trim/accent color is a complicated beige, desert dune light brownish color. I'm using shiny stainless steal & some white in there to kinda nuetralize some of the..........." edible" and "warmness" affect or colors. I'm not sure just what to do with the 3rd wall that has the doorway into my living room. Oh! and many beautiful deep green leafed streaming & climbing plants really helped to attain the energy/ vibe/aura/flavor ( I love adjectives! ), i wanted my kitchen. Next, the living room. myra, your brass sounds...........interesting, it really does, given that we're only syber space neighbors, you think I could incorporate, (steal) your brass theme for my Egyptian inspired living room??? Hi balance56-I believe the home tell's and shows many things about you. love peace & joy i love the soft browns fresh hung linen and family meals my kitchen is a soft green with country farm boarder with lighted farm houses and stores roaster's harvest for fall love log cabin shelf's dec,by farm & flower pots also scented candles like cinnamon apple pie strawberry and peach for the kitchen to fresh fire wood & pine cone candle smell for living room.i did my granddaughter's room in soft purple w/home made stitched quilt matching sheets with a special made large area rug in the middle of carped floor.love ectpenny
