This is something I wrote (with some additions cuz I talk a lot...) on another thread the other day. For what it's worth...

I see "god" as the Great Universe--containing everything and I mean even nothing. I believe it's all connected on an energetic level (because that's what everything is...), and that energy consists of love, i.e. Love it the connective tissue holding us all together, keeping us connected as One. That doesn't mean there aren't other kinds of energy that exist in the GU, but everything has its place, even the energies that we perceive as negative.

(This part is pretty much Tolle...) I believe the GU is a living entity unto itself, and that it is striving towards consciousness. I believe we who raising our consciousness--in any way, are contributing to the "awakening" or the "enlightenment" of the Great Universe as an entity unto itself. I believe there are other forces at work within the Great Universe, all of them connected, and from all different areas, that are also raising their consciousness, thus also facilitating the "awakening" of the GU. Those other forces might be pure energy (just like us, I might add...) or they may be some sort of "anti-energy" because everything has an opposite in order that we maintain balance.

I believe the more Love Energy we create and generate, the more One we become and so it brings consciousness to the GU more quickly. This is why I believe it is so important that when we feel love, we demonstrate love--and that we strive to generate and create as much love as we possibly can in this life. The connections of love that are forged are like the connections between our firing neurons in our own brains. Love is building "neurological pathways" through out the Great Universe, thus, She stirs...

As the balance shifts towards this consciousness within the Great Universe, many things must shift and change--again to maintain a balance. Once this consciousness is attained, we, too, will become fully "conscious." And when that happens, anything is possible. I think this shift is going to be traumatic for some human minds and they may be "lost" for a time, but because it is an influx of love energy, eventually they will be alright. I suppose it's possible that some human minds will not be able to sustain such a sudden and drastic change, I don't know. But it is going to be a big deal, as it already has been--just not in a calamitous way, as so many seem to enjoy hoping for...

We are living on the edge of unimaginable beauty every day. Just look around. What's not to love?

The emotion of Love that we as physical beings experience allows us an oportunity to truly begin to appreciate the allowance of Love energy in which all things exist.

regarding your question:

How many of you would move away from organized religions if you knew that Choosing Freely offered the freedom to simply just be yourself, without conditions...

I walked away from church at age 12, because I would not Fear a Loving God....I never walked away from my connection to God...no never...I went from going to church....to my church within my heart and soul....At age 12, I could not wrap my head around....a loving God...wanting us to experience Fearing God....now could this be....I pondered in stillness...we have free will, for a reason....and I had a strong overpowering feeling....I need to walk my path home to God...My Way.....not in fear of being a sinner....no, In Being the most Loving person I could be....I always knew Love was God...but, life has twists and turns...and we get emotional and overreact...and cause dross in my lives....those neg. experiences imo....are valuable lessons...showing us what we are not...and guiding us to our True Selves....One with God, one with All.....

note: this type A 12 year old, could not handle the stress of looking over my shoulder....when I was doing something wrong...kid's will be kid's....so, I was my own judge and jury...when I did wrong....and let me say....from exp...our inner judge is one tough judge....more so than any others that have judged us....you see....our inner judge is always with us....and just loves to put us down...via...old false beliefs....

Ha, I tell my inner judge.....I am the boss....no comments from the peanut gallery.....i do better, when i know better, and in the Now....my best is good enough....peace out inner judge....I run this show !!!!

Thanks for your comments. I agree with your perspective of the church and their "god fearing" teachings. Those who have created the organized religions know very well that free choice exists. But they too fear that if humanity was aware of it's ability to choose freely that they would no longer have control..If humanity is to choose beyond their fear of "God" and fear in general, then we are all to realize and listen to the self within that knows we are the ones choosing. Realize our own power. The enitre structure of the church is to take power away from induviduals..

It would be interesting if someone was to decline the offerings dish as it came around the pews while in church, and when asked why they did not give money to the church the induvidual would say "because I choose not to". The reaction of the priest toone who knew their own power of free choice would be interesting.:)

Good for you for being honest with yourself so you could see beyond the fear around you. Your inner self certainly is the one in command.

He shared some of his wisdom with me once, when our little Stevie-Bug was about 2 years old. My son said to me, "Mom, my dad taught me everything I want to be as a father." Knowing he had not spent even a year total of his 21 in the presence of his father, I'm sure I must have knit my brow, pondering what he said.

This lesson he took from his absent father. This blessing he gleaned--from what seemed like nothing. He created love for his son from his perceived lack of love from his own dad. My son is one of the most beautiful miracles I have or ever will know.

The power of love. It can clean up any mess if you set it free.

This is Truth...

However the Truth is only as clear as the Translation of what we perceive.

Its like red and blue... We can grow up thinking red is blue and blue is red and go through our entire life thinking we are right never even assuming we have gotten it wrong.... Until one day we are "enlightened" and suddenly we realize we have gotten it wrong our whole life. We look back and see how our entire life was effected by what we thought we knew was True and how it created the reality that we have experienced.

The Truth changes everything! Suddenly it all makes since! I can see "WE" for what "WE" ARE......

WoW! The realization is amazing when we finally know who we Truly are - rather than who we Thought we were...

All that we are Is Love... Only when we think we are something else do we Compromise that Truth and create and alternate reality..

And if they are wondering Spirits , do you know what kind of Spirits they are ?

Just from the Christian perspective , since this is a Religion & Spirituality forum , the Wonders are Spirits , that are not of God .

The bible talks about other Spirits , which in the bible we have to assume that they are fallen Angels .

According to the bible , these Spirits do not rest , not unless they have a home , which is a human to dwell in .

So from the Christian perspective , these Spirits are not good Spirits .

In the old testament , the bible talks about familiar spirits , and all the people that allowed them to enter them , we put out of israel , by the commandment of God .

We see one woman , who is able to see Samuel who was , had died , who Saul the king had her summon Samuel , so He could talk with Him and find out what would become of Him .

We also see in the new testament , a women , who by a spirit could predict the future , and Paul cast out this Spirit , and then the woman could no longer predict the future .

So for a christian , this would be a transgression to commune with one of these spirits or to channel these spirits .

According to the Web site you gave me , the wonders consist of 2000 to 3000 different spirits .

This also on the Christian perspective , is consistent with the man in the bible who had a Legion of Spirits in him , who when Jesus removed them , then went into the Swine , and then ran off a cliff and drown in the sea .

I find it interesting the names there Spirits choose to call themselves , in the bible they were called Legion , meaning many .

then you have them calling themselves the wonders , which is exactly what they are , they wonder all over the earth , looking for a house to dwell in , just like Legion did .

Another girl on this site , her husband calls the Spirits He channels as the collective , which , also sounds like Legion , meaning many .

But this is the Christian , bible perspective , on other Spirits .

I do personally believe in this perspective , seeing that I have seen Jesus in a vision , and many other experience for God .

And I have chosen , to only allow Gods Spirit to speak to me , which the bible calls the Spirit of truth .

Hi, Jeff!

I checked out the wonders web site and found it interesting. I have been exposed to channeled information on several occaisions over the past few years. I always love the information that the collective consciouness conveys. I also notice there are more and more people who appear to have the ability to put themselves asside a bit while the collective speak. I also believe we all are channels for the divine. Most of us just are unable to release and listen. I myself have occaisional spells when information flows like a steam through me. It is rare but always blows my mind.
