Hi,

I would like to know what kind of a bike Mr. Murdoch was using? I have arthritis, and am overweight, and so find it difficult to get my leg(s) over to the other side (or through) the bike. But I noticed Mr. M's bike allowed him to touch his feet to the ground while sitting on the seat of the bike. I have searched quite a few of the other people's responses to the show, but haven't been able to find any mention of the bike. If someone could tell me, that would be great! (I am going to start saving my pennies!)

Since people who are interested in health are reading this, I hope to get some hints on things I can do to improve my chances as a malaria survivor. I take supplements since my teens, when I turned vegetarian (and taught myself how to get balanced nutrition), and am especially fond of co-Q10 and blue-green algae.

I spent ten days in the hospital some years back with fevers of 106 for ten days - the staff could not seem to do anything for me, so I tried an oxygen therapy I had been reading about at home, and it worked - brought down the fever that day and I haven't had a relapse since then. It took about six months to recover my energy, and I did have a mini-stroke that first year, and have always wondered if I suffered any brain damage, as my speaking ability lost some acuity (I lost my usual ability to articulate quickly).

What I have long wondered is what to look out for in the future - what possible complications could there be for me. This show mafe me wonder if the hyperbaric chamber would be something for me - I still have a lack of energy, and I used to be very athletic. I've managed to raise three kids since the youngest was a newborn, however... anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or ideas, you can write to me at classicbenz77 on yahoo - thanks!

Oprah,

I don't get where you are on the Michael Jackson issue. I got the distinct impression from previous shows that you condemned him for his alleged molestation. Ironically there was a clip of you interviewing him about the hyperbaric chamber and you really took a tone with him. The underlying subtext was, "do you really sleep in a chamber you nutjob?" You also asked him if he was a virgin. I'm so offended about the crappy way he was treated by the media time and again & how it influenced (wrongly I believe) our perceptions of him. Why is it anyone's business if he is a virgin, or where he slept? He shied away from answering these outrageous questions, especially about viriginity. Why did he have to defend this behaviour or discuss it at all? How many other guests did you ask such outrageous questions to? Not one I"m sure. I'm so disgusted with that interview. It was callous and hurtful. He denied that he did and you said something like you'd read or heard that he did so because he wanted to live to 150yrs, with the same tone as if he were insane. Do you feel remorseful, ridiculous or horrified at the way you treated him? Obviously you have changed your mind about this chamber, do you really think this man who helped so many children was a molestor of 2, maybe 3? I haven't read anywhere any comment that you've made on his death. I hope you will give him the honour that he is due, it's very belated, but maybe he will forgive you.

Looks like lots of concerns over the today's topic.

I am not interested in living longer but certainly wish to enjoy a healthy and energetic life. Moderan technology (including regenerative medicine ??) awed me a bit but as long as it helps curing many patients, it doesn't need to be seen negatively. At present, many ordinary people may not be benefited by it but considering that fast growing technology development, within a decade, it may be available for everyone. ^ ^

I have a most beautiful lady with whom I have had an extraordinary relationship for about 18 years. I love her dearly, and she loves me. Now 64, she lost her sight about 30 years ago. This brave woman has been looking for a way to recover her sight since she lost it, and I, as her lover and friend, have been helping her in her quest.

Today, I watched Oprah." Fantastic", I thought, "If the gentleman who appeared on the show was able to grow a new finger, is there not a great possibility that she can recover her sight?" Simple, I'll just ask Dr. Oz." Well, good luck!

Of some 6 billion of us on planet Earth (6,000 million), perhaps one million (just guessing) watched her show, Of those, let's say 100,000 had questions for Dr. Oz.. Of those (still just guessing), let's say 1,000 (1% of 100,000, or an infinitessimally small amount of 6 billion) wrote as you and I have, seeking an answer from the good doctor.

I reply to you, not the doctor replying to your question, but I don't have an answer - he does. Will we get an answer? I don't think so. And so, all I can do is wish you well, hoping against hope that you will one day regenerate your afflicted lungs, and she her beautiful sightless eyes.

God bless.

Today's show has to be one of the best, most informative shows I've seen on 'Oprah'

My spouse and I were blown away by the man who grew a new finger part, complete with
new, stronger nail, wow.
The information on the show just kept more and more fascinating, the 80-something man was delightful, and gave us all something to strive for, I know I'll be using my juicer more often!

Even Dr.Oz admitted that he had not realized just how far medical science had advanced.
Anyway, Bravo for an excellent show that gave us much to think about.

I would never want to live that long - no matter how healthy I am. Why should I contribute to the overpopulation of the planet? That is exactly what extreme life extension does. It's not just breeding anymore that contributes to overpopulation.

A person asks a simple question and neither the staff nor other posters bother to answer.

Seriously, what is the point of this site? What a joke. I'm done wasting my time

Hi. At this time, a DVD of this show is not available for sale. While transcripts of all shows are available for purchase on Oprah.com, unfortunately we do not have clearance to sell all shows as videotapes. Here is a link to 'The Oprah Store' for your convenience:
