To Understand the Future, You have to Understand the Past

Posted on Jun 30, 2009 11:41 AM

God gives us His word to learn and understand why we are here. In 2 Peter 3, Peter is telling us about the three earth ages and three heaven ages. There are other hints in God's word that tells us about the first earth age. 2 Peter 3:6 - Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: (first earth age) v.7 But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (second earth age, now) v.8 describes the millennium and then in v. 13. Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (the third and final earth age described in Rev. 21)

Only righteousness will there be in the eternity. God is patient and wants all to come to Him, but the time will come like a thief in the night, the Day of the Lord. Are you ready? John 3:16

The only warming spoken of in these scriptures is the Consuming Fire, and God is the Consuming Fire. The first earth age was in the days of the dinosaurs.

perhaps....

Age one, pre-conscience existance, spirit being physical matter as in rocks, plants and animals without consciousness.

Age two, dual-conscience existance, spirit being physical matter and conscience combined as one. Humans. Matter (Flesh) and spirit co-existing.

Age three, pure conscience existance, spirit being spirit.

Well I would guess Satan and 1/3 of the sons of Gods caused the problem in the first place. Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

The second earth age, God is giving us a choice who to follow, Him or the other one. John 3:16.

There will be a Consuming Fire, v.10 and the elements shall melt with fervant heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Isaiah 45:17 But Israel be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. 18 For thus saith the Lord That created the heavens; God Himself That formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: "I am the Lord; and there is none else.

This earth will alway be inhabited.

Jeremiah 4:22 For My people if foolish, they have not known Me; they are sottish (stupid) children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

23 I beheld the earth, and lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, (man or mankind in Hebrew Adam) and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

God was really angry to destroy the first earth age. One third of his children, (man) choose satan over Him.

28 For this shall the earth mourn, an the heavens above black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

So is this the same darkness that was in Genesis 1:2, I believe so. We are here in this second earth age to redeem ourselves, and the only way is to confess that Jesus is Lord.

I started this thread to discuss the earth ages. Do you have a problem with that? All the verse I quoted are from the Holy Bible.

Thank you for responding........ I am with you so far.

What I am trying to understand about the earth ages.....is which earth age did man appear?

There is some speculation that Adam was in the first and then after the flood Noah was the second but that doesn't agree with what I was taught many years ago. I'm interested in understanding and acquiring other opinions on it. This is the reason I asked.

Lastnight, I asked you not to post me again because of what you were saying to me. I study out of the KJV. If you have a problem with that and continue to disrespect me, I will not answer any more of your questions. I responded to you on this thread before you commented to me lastnight.

The Sons of God, angels (who I believe we all are) was in the first earth age.

Adam meaning man in Hebrew and Red colored flesh man in Greek if I am correct.

Adam a man who was created on the earth day, or the 8 thousand years because a day with the Lord is like a 1000 year. Adam and Eve are the bloodline that our Savior was born.

Adam and Ever was created on the eight day creation. Man and Woman was created on the six day of creation.

So all men and woman (flesh) was creation in the second earth age.

I really wasn't being disrespectful, it was obviously your perception.

I have tried very hard to stay on topic here and ask legitimate questions. Thank you for this last post with answers. I will work on those and continue to post to the thread. It would indeed be your choice not to answer or comment to me if you chose. I would respect that as well. Thanks again for the information.
