God's Word is Truth

Posted on Jun 28, 2009 7:33 PM

Some say the bible has good stories and lessons in it. Some say the bible is merely a document written by men and so it is flawed. Some say the church changed the bible, added or subtracted books of the bible and introduced false doctrines to empower and enrich themselves.

If you put these together; you end up with the exact same formula that satan {the serpent} used in the Garden of Eden. He challenges and casts doubt on God's Word's and casts doubt on God's authority; then satan accuses God and convicts Him of telling a lie; then he implies that God had a different motive in telling what satan called a lie, that we humans can be as God and need not be subjugated under Him, and that somehow God is attempting to hold us down or back from our destiny as the masters of our own lives and destiny . They do not believe the bible is really God's written Word! To say that the bible is flawed and that we have no sure Word of God on any matter is to say there is no defined judgment, nor any promise of salvation. Now perhaps one can understand why it is important to satan to destroy the creditably of the bible.

Don't let anybody shake your faith in the bible!!

Blessings,

demory

To pass distorted teachings onward as being the truth, would be one of the worst things you can do.

Satan is as much a creation, as 'God' is. You don't need to create Satan - when people themselves create the mess they are in. Are you not in possession of your own body, thereafore actions, and thoughts.

I would rather believe in what I can see, rather than what I cannot see.

You either believe in the Bible or you don't. No one can convince you otherwise. You decide yourself - what to believe in.

Why place your faith in a book? Why not place it all in the Great Universe ("god") and allow it to guide and direct your path. Why take the chance that the bible is tainted--which it is and you can easily learn by doing just a little bit of research on the matter...

When a situation in my life calls for me to read some words as guidance, those words find me every single time--in a book, through a friend, or sometimes even on a road sign. Whenever I have ever had a need the Great Universe has seen fit to ensure it finds me. The simplest things and the most important things are always well within my reach--especially knowledge.

I studied the bible. I know enough about the bible. I have a relationship with the Great Universe which is real and beautiful, and for me it does not require a man-written, updated, edited, revised, altered/omitted book or group of books for it to function in a healthy manner.

Besides, in my opinion, no "god" worthy of my time can fit within the pages of a single cluster of "books." I don't think the memory of every computer on the face of the planet could contain all the wonders of this place, and our blessed journeys within its limits (and lack thereof...)

So, thanks, but no thanks.

Love,

Arwen

Hi demory,

Alot of the same people who tells others that the bible is false, will probably believe satan is the Christ when he presents himself as the Christ and they will worship him because they did not learn the truth while there was time. That is way we spread God's truth, for them.

In Christ,

Amen alias and demory..... thank you for your words of truth....sadly, many reject God and the knowledge of God through his word.

Hosea 4:6
my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

I have always wondered

why people are afraid to

accept God?

at His Word.

He makes it so clear, for all who will see.

I guess that is the answer, for who are willing to see.

Hi heneini,

I love the thought of spending eternity with our Lord for eternity here on planet earth, and not floating around in the universe forever. :x

Thanks, but no thanks.

By the way, Satan happens to be a close friend of mine and I can assure you he will never come back in the flesh and if he did, I for one would not worship him unless he returns in the flesh of a woman who looks a lot like k d lang...

They just twisted and tweaked, until it fit into some sort of 'plan of salvation', when in reality, they killed a man who was doing good deeds and spoke life-sense. Guilt will bring about denial, and conjur up all sorts of stories.

Yes people, do not let facts get in the way. For if those facts were actually true, then we would lose our story.

The serpent is evil. There is an older story of creation than the Judea story in Genesis. It is of a goddess that created the world in 7 days and on the 7th day rested. Ironically the goddess was a serpent. The jewish people borrowed heavily from other cultures. There is so much paganism in Judiasm and Christianity that it is ridiculous that paganism is so condemned.

Satan is not real. Satan is a metaphor that is why it is an anagram for Santa. OK that is a lie LOL, but Santa brings toys in the name of joy. Does materialism bring true joy or is it really the "gaining of the world?" I really don't care myself, just making a point and just saying. Isn't materialism the worship of idols as said in Christianity? Idolatry is idolatry. OK gettin off subject here...sort of, but if anyone has done any research into the Bible and how it came about would know that it did get changed and that it was written by man. The Bible is not from God, it is about God.

As a matter of fact, I havent read the Bible in quite a while, so I thought I would sit down and read it again. Within a couple of pages I stopped, because it was so blatently painfully obvious that it was written by man. Not just man, but ignorant man. I actually have many more questions now than before. But here is one just for instance. When God created the world. Who was there to document this and was dictating what God was doing? Who was there dictating the Earth's beginings? Who did God tell this story to?

Or maybe those that have been duped before by false teaching will be duped again.

How many will fail to see that there are many that have accepted God already and have no need to accept Him again? That would be like wondering why Seal and Heidi Klum renew their wedding vows every year on their anniversary. Thinking well weren't the first vows and commitments to one another good enough? Or maybe they see how they are changing throughout their marriage and each year they say you know what I would do it again and then they do.

I had LDS missionaries come to my home. They said, "Would you like to know about Jesus?" I replied, "I already know Him." They said, "Well, would you like to talk about Him with us?" I said, "Not today, I would rather be with Him." They left. I am not sure what they thought of our little exchange. Does it really matter what other humans think about our lives or choices? No, IMHO, I only care how God feels about me and I know He loves me.

Yes demory, people say a lot of stuff.

Some people put their faith in the bible, some in the torah, some in the koran, etc... some put their faith in God or Spirit, and others put thier faith in many other things, and some in no thing, and some in nothing at all.

That's everyone's Freewill.

Don't let the people, who don't choose to put their faith, into what you chose to put your faith into, discourage you from from what you chose, to put your faith into.

That's your Freewill.

Be happy with what you choose to put your faith in, and all that stuff people say, shouldn't bother you.
