I went to Honolulu in 2006 and my hotel had a bar, where I tried a rum-based drink called a Blue Hawaiian. Great drink and ever since returning home, I've been wanting to have a few more sips. I looked up the basics online, played bartender, and it came out nicely. Easy to make.
Ingredients:
1 oz Rum (I favor Bacardi white/clear rum)
1 oz Blue Curacao
2 oz Creme of Coconut
6 oz Pineapple Juice
Directions:
If you have a shaker, just combine all the ingredients, and drink up. I didn't have a shaker, so I used a blender which worked out just fine. Best served chilled. Enjoy!
