I was pregnant with our first child when Home & Family first aired and I became a huge fan of Cristina's! I printed off her recipes and still use her cookbook to this day - her "homemade mascarpone" is all I ever use because it's only been in the past few years that stores carried the real stuff and her Tiramisu recipe is my favorite. She was a joy to watch daily and she was such a real person to see with her ups and downs. Her Lemon Cake, Chicken Enchiladas and Antipasta Sandwich are some of the most requested recipes I make. The homemade enchilada sauce is so easy and so much better than any canned version I've ever had. The Antipasto Sandwich is great for summer picnics and entertaining since it needs to be made ahead and it can go very far. It's also very conducive to tail gating so it's a year round meal. All of her recipes are wonderful and her flair for presentation was always amazing but the best touch of all was the love she put into her food. I've always strived to do that for my family and we now have 4 kids (13, 11, 9 next week and 6). I am SO excited to see her recipes on Oprah! People need to pay attention and try her recipes!

I really love to watch Cristina at work in her kitchen and I'm glad I found her video's on Oprah's site. I like the cooking tips and the the chunky cho/chip cookies are now my favorite!

I watch cooking shows several times a week as I love them and get great information and ideas from them but I reallty love "Cooking with Cristina Ferrare" because she comes across as such a real person. She makes it feel as if you are sitting in her kitchen having coffee with her while she demos her latest recipes.

Love the show!

The recipes that Christina uses and promotes are very calorie dense and not ones that I would use on a regular basis. I would like to see her use less grains in recipes like breads, cookies and corn which contribute vastly to obesity. Maybe foods that are based on less processed foods would encourage people to cook healthier. Also it would be interesting to have the calorie count on each recipe, with the good fats and bad fats, carbohydrate count and protein content. Christina could be a great promoter of good food as she does a really wonderful job of presenting her recipes.

I know Christina is a favourite with a large proportion of the population, but I am a nutritionist, personal trainer and deal with weight problems in clients, and I couldn't go past commenting on this one.

Cristina is so fabulous and what a wonderful cook who presents her recipes with such ease. I can't wait to make the burgers and the corn. Does she have a website for more info and meals?

Cristina made a meatloaf when she was on Home & Family, it is the best meatloaf ever. I have 3 boys all grown now. The standing

joke was you eat Mom's meatloaf with a spoon because it never sliced nice. I started making Cristina's Meatloaf and the boys

came home. One of them asked, where did you buy this it slices? But, I fooled him, I gave his wife the recipe. LOVE CRISTINA'S

COOKING!!!!!! maw

+Cristina Ferrare's "Super Duper Chocolate Chip Cookie" recipe is the BEST Chocolate Chip Recipe I have ever +

made!!! I did make one change on the optional nuts, I chose to use Pecans, easier on the mouth. The idea of

refrigerating the scoops of dough works so well, the cookies don't spread all over the baking pan.

I love the "hands on" type of cooking that Cristina uses and shares with the rest of us, along with the delicious

recipes-- well done!!!
