What People Call Deja Vu?

Posted on Feb 19, 2008 12:33 PM

Have you ever experienced what people call deja vu? Last night while watching the prelude to "To Kill a Mockingbird" on my computer, where you see a hand colouring and drawing and looking in a box with a child's crayons and prized possessions such as marbles, a watch, harmonica and a dark coloured wooden doll.

When I had turned six years old, I stayed with some special people who I thought were guardian angels. They worked in the entertainment industry and I was taken everywhere in three weeks while they worked or looked for work. One way they could keep me still was drawing and colouring and I didn't mind at all. I had those same things and I'd talk to people when they asked me questions.

A quote from yesterday's Oprah Show "A person is a person no matter how small" by Dr. Seus.

My mom's favourite qoute to me "Big things come in small packages" and "count your blessings" when I'm sad.

I now know why it is important to me to remember because it'll help others.

Hi Trurand,
You posted on my blog about how swimming helps you and the harp helps me. I also swim a lot in the ocean of Kauai. I've been healing on this island for 7 years and having some interesting experiences. I'm finally writing my first book about surviving cancer twice. It's been 9 months since my lung collapsed, and the doctor's at Stanford gave me no hope....that's what my story is about.
How did you like The New Earth?
aloha,
Celestdragon

Celestdragon: Thank you for reading. I am finding it is helping me with coming to terms with dealing with people when I tell them about when I was 4 to 6 years old. I only talk about it if it is a natual conversation in which people are talking about their past. Or an event triggers the memory. So some of the questions are helping me see a different way. The book itself is not a new concept, I found a tv show online that talks about the same idea called Telepathic TV. It was made in 2004. I went to an experimental grade school in the 1967-68 where they tried using no labels just comments on you were doing. It was Roman Catholic and we discussed songs people wrote such as Silence is Golden and Suspicious Minds.

How did you like "The New Earth" in dealing with your cancer that you have survived twice. You say are writing your first book about your experience with cancer was that after reading the book or did you want to write while you were undergoing treatment? Bye from Winterwonderland it's snowing.
