Started writing a short story for a contest. I began with zesto and 600 words just flowed on to the page. I need 2,500 words.

Sometimes it is just easier to write my thoughts down and not worry about the past, present, or future tense. The commas, semi colons and periods or question marks. For a short story you need all those items and in the right places.

I'm working on it and maybe it'll make another contest instead. Blogging like this is easier. No worries! No one to critique the grammar, the spelling or the content. Well, maybe there is someone.":x"

Some Interesting Stuff on Oprah.com

Started the online workbook yesterday by Marianne Williamson. "A Course in Miracles".

A little quiet time, while not working outside the home. Take about 30 minutes to listen to some interesting speakers and Marianne Williamson is one of them.

She has an interesting concept and I am not sure about letting go of certain events of my past, as some people would think it was a miracle that I remembered, although I know some people realized I had been remembering even though I didn't know it.

I like remembering certain people and what they did to help me. Even though I cry about what certain people did I hope that I spark other people whose lives were also changed.

It is a part of who I am. Why I enjoy the simple things in life. Swimming with the seniors, having coffee afterwards and once in awhile having breakfast. Going for walks in the woods with my husband. Making homemade soup even though cooking isn't my forte. Walking the dog and taking pictures of stray cats, ducks, Canada geese and Arctic birds. Even working part-time to help with the finances.

It isn't always rosy, and at times it is frustrating so with websites such as this, it allows one to appreciate what he/she has.
