These past few days I have been converting old vinyl records to MP3. Some of the records belonged to my mom and dad. They bought them a long time ago for 99 cents or $1.00 something at Honest Eds'. They had played them a few times only I played them most of the time. I never really remembered until now why some songs were special.

They now remind me of Charles who died at age 5. One song was Charlie my boy that his father sang to him to make him laugh and feel special. Even though I was just Charles' best friend I was given a song too. "I love you truly" because I thought they were singing I love you Trudy.

People are right when they said almost everything will remind you of your past now because you are remembering. I only wished I had remembered a long time ago before I was married and had a family. There is nothing I can do only remember and move on with life and my family and that's not easy.
