It just came to me when I was watching a video by Matchbox Twenty for "How far we've come". I never really thought about it. I bet lot of you have. If you look at the peace sign you'll notice the resemblance to the pendulum. The middle and the distance on either side of the middle is the balance of negative and positive or left wing, right wing.

Even though I grew up in the hippie times I never became part of it and never really looked at the sign. Just thought it was a symbolism of what our countries represented.

It is what we are striving for a balance to live with one another. The song sung by this young group see the earth is coming to an end and they'll just pretend to see how far we've gone.

We still have lots to do and the every person on this planet has a purpose no matter how small or how big to keep this planet going. We have to stop the destruction of putting holes in the earth and not refilling them. We have to replenish so that our kids, kids will have something to work with, not pretend that nothing is wrong but fix it try to hold the planet together.

There are possibilities when we work together, the young, middleaged and the old.
