There are many professions that risk their lifes. One of them are firefighters. In Toronto this past Sunday a dedication ceremony was held in honour of those who have lost their lives.

There was an older firefighter who was taking photographs of the ceremony. His eye for detail would have helped him spot a person who would hardly be breathing. His quiet personality reminded me of the young man who, I don't know his name but at the age of five he saw that I moved under a silver railing in the snow. I don't know how I got out of the fire. I remember now he told me he liked to take pictures. Thanks, even though I'm not sure he reads blogs on Oprah.com.

And to those in the military service Thank you for keeping us Safe.
