Philosophy, science, religion represent different aspects of human consciousness. If we try to analyse consciousness we must include all those aspects or analyse will be incomplete. Although is religion the most controversial aspect of human consciousness and have many inadequacy, it also have some very lucid and powerful ideas about universe and existence. One of them is that are people spiritual and not material beings. All religions see body just as passing phase in development of spirit (consciousness) or eternal indestructible essence of people. One theory try to explain beginning of religion as inadequate knowledge of physical law, where are people in ignorance, explain physical phenomenon's as divine. But, is it really ignorance cause of religion? People of today is not so ignorant in questions of physical law as before, but they are still religious. Not only that religion didn't disappear but it become more subtle. Religion has nothing to do with education because some non educated people are not religious, as some educated people are. Religion is something individual and intuitive in every person. That is the very complex issue what needs time and space to be properly explain.

With science we are able not only to discover but also to use physical laws for our own good. So many progress is connected with science that sometime is very hard to see other side of it. First, science more and more have characteristic of something omnipotent, unmistakable and necessary for happiness of people. More and more science gives illusion as something independent of people. We mustn't forget that main factor in science are people. Although, are people capable to make progress and be creative, for them is also characteristic to make mistakes, because science never mustn't be on pedestal or be inaccessible to critic.

Science, dealing with law of physical existence or appearance can have only materialistic view on people and universe and not essential. Therefore scientific knowledge is in constant change and is not wise to take some scientific assumptions as finite and correct.

Materialistic view of people analyse only bodies of people on very mechanical way where is body explain as complex mechanism with chemical end energetic reaction what gives life. With destruction of that mechanism life stops to exist.

This explanation is explanation of appearance not of essence. Is it possible for science to have essential explanation?

How wise is then to take that assumption as finite and correct?

Another assumption is that are people "higher animals". Not only that assumption is not correct but it is also danger. Who expect of animals to be responsible?

Although similarities between everything in existence are present, everything also have it is own difference and peculiarity. Only consciousness of people have ability to have responsible choice of own action. And not only that people have ability of choice, but constant and responsible choice is main law of them consciousness. WE ARE WHAT WE MAKE OF OURSELVES, OR WHAT WE ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE WITH OUR CHOICES.

All other creature on our planet have more or less instinctive choices, therefore they are never accountable for them action as people.

Many think that philosophy is near end. Until exist any unanswered question or mystery philosophy will be present in human consciousness. Knowledge is never complete, therefore unanswered questions always exist and with them philosophy too.

It is necessary to have union of all aspects of human consciousness if we want to achieve real progress and avoid one side interpretation of ourselves and universe.

Without death we never can have idea about non existence. For us consciousness is same as life and existence. In physical existence we can notice consciousness only in bodies, therefore we conclude that destruction of the bodies means destruction of the consciousness.
Because everything exist trough consciousness or consciousness is all what it is, we conclude that with destruction of consciousness starts "something" what is "nothing".
What is nothing or non existence?
We even don't understand physical existence what we are in, how then we can talk or understand non existence what we are not in?
Idea about existence and non existence what we have now is in contradiction. Not only that we from emptiness, non activity, unconsciousness, total darkness (or who knows how else we imagine that non existence) can begin existence, but contradiction is also in existence of non existence.
Everything what exist is existence. If we say that non existence exist, then non existence also must be existence because exist. That means that exist only existence or constant change or interaction of opposites.
With death we can see that something opposite to physical existence exist. If we from idea of non existence what we have now (and what we formed only by physical existence and not directly) can't explain connection with physical existence (what must exist) means that our idea about non existence is not correct. One reason is also that we still don't understand physical existence, specially beginning.
Mistake is in that that we existence of consciousness connected only with existence of matter and on that way we represent physical existence as general idea about existence. Such general idea about existence can't have interaction of opposites without contradiction. General idea about existence must include in itself both opposites without contradiction.
But if idea of non existence is replace by non physical existence then contradiction disappear and law of interaction of opposites can explain beginning of physical existence.
On that way non existence or absolute emptiness is replace with non physical existence or absolute union, fullness, contraction or essence from what is possible beginning or expansion of differences, individuality or appearance of forms or physical existence.
Non existence or unconsciousness, non meaning and absolute individuality as base of anything is impossible. Non meaning and unconsciousness can exist only in frame of consciousness, union and meaning as necessary opposite for interaction.
For physical existence is characteristic law of cause and effect. Everything inside physical existence can be explain by that law except beginning. For beginning that law is contradict or everything points on limitation (not on generality ) of that law and necessity of existence of opposite or non physical law. On that way consciousness or non physical existence can be only possible and essential explanation of beginning of physical existence.

Planet Earth has two characteristic opposites: living and non living beings. Non living beings have different appearance, forms as well as different material structure. Although, they are all different, for all them is characteristic same passivity and lifeless existence.

For living beings are characteristic activity what manifests as beginning, development and disappearance from physical existence. They also have difference in form and material structure as well as consciousness activity in them bodies.

For example, plants have activity of consciousness (or meaningful development) but they have no intelligence animals or people. They interaction with surrounding is limited just on instinct of self-preservation. For plants is also characteristic immovability.

Questions are:

Why are some beings live and active and some non live and passive when all have material bodies?

If matter have peculiarity of meaningful activity why all material forms have not that peculiarity?

Why only those material forms what have consciousness have that peculiarity?

From that we can conclude that consciousness gives life to all living beings not the matter. That assertion also is in accordance with law of interaction of opposites.

Non living beings represent only matter or physical quality, therefore for them is characteristic form and appearance but absence of consciousness or lifeless existence.

Living beings represent interaction of two different qualities: matter or physical quality with non physical formless, but meaningful activity or consciousness. That interaction keeps characteristic of both of those two qualities, but in the same time produce new form of existence what manifests as meaningful activity or life of material forms or bodies.

In physical existence matter or body represents only "appearance" of consciousness therefore we see them as same. Beginning of consciousness in matter or bodies we explain with complexity of matter.

Theory that consciousness begins with complexity of matter have so many unanswered questions as:

How begins that complexity where matter gain ability to think?

What is that what points in right direction or interaction of necessary material elements?

How is that that necessary material elements for thinking where created?

By accident?

How is possible an accident in strictly determinate and precisely complex union?

What makes matter or how matter begins?

Nearly all different cultures believe in non physical dimension of existence what is opposite to physical. In many instances they think that those two dimensions have subtle interaction in which is non physical superior to physical.
People have deep-rooted idea about existence of consciousness without body under names of angels, spirit, fairy, nymph etc. That idea is not religiously based. Many non religious people have intuitive idea about it. Some people start to have that idea after death of close friends or relatives, some after NDE etc.
Questions are:
Why so many people with different backgrounds, cultures, religious believe have that idea? Where is that idea come from?
How wise is dismiss that idea without been able to prove it impossible?
How we can be so sure that all this what we notice and call physical existence dosn't give appearance of only possible existence, and that is not part of something more complex?
We can be in illusion that discovering physical we discover the whole what it is and not a part. Therefore our knowledge can't be without contradiction.
Argument of people who categorically denial any existence except physical is that all what they can see, notice or discover is this physical existence. But, that is something what we can expect because we are amid physical existence . As man goes under the water all what he can see and notice is the water or all his experiences must be trough water; and that dosn't mean that space without water dosn't exist.
In physical existence we can't see consciousness without body or matter because we conclude that matter and consciousness is the same and that one without other can't exist. That is based only on appearance and not on essence because we still don't understand, not only matter, but more impotently consciousness.

Human knowledge represent constant change or process. Process is something what is not complete or finite but always have phase, continuity and development. Therefore human knowledge can't be whole and perfect but always partial and limited.
Illusion of perfect and finite knowledge are characteristic of arrogance. Arrogance by itself prevent progress in knowledge. Only when are people aware of own limitation they are capable to be open to different ideas or learn and make progress. On that way they also can free them selves of own illusion and prejudices, but in the same time to know that they can form other illusions and prejudices caused by partiality of knowledge.
Proportion of that what we know with that what we don't know about existence is immense to give us right to be confident. Approach to question of existence must have to be flexible or open to consider different and even contradict alternative and thinking.

Different people have different idea of enjoyment. Those differences are caused by different emotional or spiritual growth of people. More people know them selves - more they understand them essential needs. Those needs always have constructive nature with everything outside them selves and they equally nourish body and soul. Destructive pleasure and enjoyment are always result of prevented emotional or spiritual growth.
Although it seems that those enjoyment are limited and not numerous, that is not so. They are unlimited and inexhaustible. Spiritually or emotionally mature man dosn't limit his pleasure only on spectacular and sensational events outside, but find pleasure in his own progressive spiritual growth that enables him to discover deeper meaning and beauty.
That man finds pleasure in whole existence. For him is enough to watch bird in flight, hear the murmur of brook, breath freshness of the air and feel immense joy, happiness and pleasure. On that way his enjoyments are never uniform but always fresh and new.

Although I still learning English and therefore my expression is limited, my mind and love of wisdom is not. Since I know for myself I wanted to know what is existence, and what is this all about? That cause me to read a lot and to think.
Knowledge is process as existence. All what we can know directly in this existence are ourselves. Trough us we experience everything around us. More we understand ourselves - more we understand everything around us.
We are the window trough we watch everything what surrounding us. If is our window narrow and fogged our view will be also narrow and fogged and vice verse. Broader the window - broader the view. Because everyone of us have different level of self development, everyone of us have different perception. Or, every man looking trough his own window has unique view.

For start: What is non existence? We agree that all what exist is existence. We can't say that non existence exist, because it must be existence then. If we say that non existence dosn't exist, again exist only existance.
Consciousness is essence of life and existance, as Rene Descartes says: "Cogito ergo sum."
