People live in different communities with different religion, culture, tradition as well as different moral values. That fact is very often taken as proof that moral is not universal. But, that is not proof that universal moral values doesn't exist.

All those differences are result of different spiritual development of people. People with different spiritual development have different values. For intelligence of spiritually develop people is characteristic that they have more complex moral values, therefore more responsible life style then people with sustained spiritual development. Same is with communities.

Spiritual development represent active, never ending process therefore moral values inside of communities are never perfect. They have, along positive moral values, regressive elements as prejudices and other limitations what prevent progressive development of people. Therefore is necessary that people always check and analyse norms and rules of conduct in society, as well as them own, in order to free them selves of regressive elements.

Because different conduct of people very often cause conflict it is necessary to find criteria of tolerance between different behaviour of people. Criteria what is based on individual and selfish needs is limited criteria of physical existence. With that criteria people never can accept each other differences or find way to respect each other. That criteria always cause conflict.

Only criteria what is based in law of existence or essence of consciousness represent essential criteria. It is present in people in them spiritual consciousness and in conscious appears as conscience. Therefore is conscience very tightly connected with spiritual development of people and moral. That essential or moral criteria is based on harmonies development of community and not on separate individual interest. That rule can be represent as:

Conduct or action of man what serve to prosperity of that man, but doesn't harm or jeopardise on any way other people or surrounding is in accordance with moral law and that conduct, no matter how different, should be respected and accepted. Conduct or action of people what harming others or self should not be respected and accepted because acceptance of that conduct is against moral law.

Duty of every man is to follow that rule. No matter how much someone wants something, if is that not in accordance with moral rule (harmful, destructive to self and others), he should give up that wish.

If people acting in accordance with moral rule they will be able to reach agreement and cooperation because they motivation and interest will be the same. It will consist of mutual respect, prosperity and harmony and no on individual and separate. Agreement and cooperation of people always result in them progressive development and prosperity. Therefore moral conduct of people is condition of them progressive development and prosperity, as well as respect.

People who don't act in accordance with moral rule are not able to make agreement and cooperation with people who acting in frame of moral codex. On that way people who acting in moral codex are not able to give respect and acceptance to conduct of people who acting against moral codex. It doesn't depend only of other people if persona will be respected, but also of persona's own choice of conduct. As saying goes: "If you want to be respected - respect."
