JT is in the house!!!!!!

Posted on Mar 19, 2009 4:49 PM

Okay, really... I'm jumping the gun a little bit...it's my excitement I guess... I should say he's coming to our house....but I can promise you this, it's going to be soon!

So how psyched do you think I was to learn that one of the hottest superstars on the planet--Justin Timberlake---is going to be on my show next week! He's going to be joining Mark, Ali and Gayle on my Live Friday show on 3/27.

My team and I just had a very productive brainstorming session with him over the phone about what kind of fun we can have on this show. Justin seems up for anything, so that's good. He's excited to show off his clothing line "William Rast" and talk about the new show he's executive producing for MTV "The Phone". We had a really cool idea to put one of our cameras in his hands and have him show us what a day in the life of Justin Timberlake is really like. I mean, who gets that kind of access? Who knows what we're gonna get-but I can't wait to see!

So I'll keep you posted as the show evolves... but in meantime let me know what YOU want to know from Justin or what YOU want Oprah to ask on our show.

Thanks guys!!

My question for Justin: He's starting a clothing line, producing a TV show, releasing a tequila (my favorite) - he's a singer, actor, heart breaker, etc. - what is there left for him to conquer?

Follow up question: Why did I have a dream last night about seeing him at McDonald's ordering chicken fingers?

Prediction for tonight's dream - Shirtless Justin brings me chicken fingers and a bottle of his new tequila... um!

Hi Heather!

My name is Melissa and I am super excited about your upcoming show with JT! I have reservations for the show next Friday. My sister-in-law Joy and I are surprising my mother-in-law Janet (Joy's mother) by bringing her to the show for her 50th birthday...she has no idea! We have been keeping this from her for a month now and it's killing us! We are going to wake her up next Thursday with the news and begin our road trip to Chicago! I am wondering if Oprah and or JT would give her a birthday wish while we are in the audience next Friday. It would mean the world to her, she loves Oprah and the show! Thank you for listening and also for keeping us viewers up to date. We can't wait to see all of you next week!

Hi again Heather!

This is Melissa again...after I sent you the last message I got to wondering which taping next Friday is the live taping. We have our reservations for the afternoon taping. We will be excited no matter what the topic is and hopefully Janet can get a birthday wish either way! If you could fill me in or give me an idea about how that works I would greatly appreciate it, thank you so much!

WAHOO! OW! Heather, I bet you were not as excited to learn he is going to be on the Friday Live as I was (smile). I am lucky enough to have tickets to that show with my best girlfriend since 3rd grade, my sister, and my "mommyhood comrade". We have been so anxious to find out who might be on the show - though we knew it would be great no matter what. We were just so excited to be going to see Oprah and Gayle (Yay!), then I learned it is JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, OW! Had to call the other ladies at 7 a.m. on Saturday and tell them. He's sexy, smart, funny, successful . . . great guest choice. We cannot wait to get to Chicago. See you soon!!!!

Hello, my question is for Oprah. My group from Utah is coming friday and we would love to hear "what is making Oprah's heart sing!" We're always curious to know what exciting plans she has, vacations that are coming, exciting people she is talking to. I guess we are just plain wondering how our friend is. thank you, see you friday ...much love miranda

Hello, we also are coming to the show on friday at 7am. What I would like to know is if that is the Live show or is it a show from Wednesday that was cancelled? It is great either way, we are glad that we were able to reschedule before we had to return to Utah. Thanks so much, emmafaye

I'm one of Justin's (and Oprah's) biggest fans, and I'll be in the audience on Friday - a dream come true! I don't think I've ever been more excited in my life!! I was looking for something special to do for my birthday (on the 30th), and I can't imagine anything better than starting my birthday weekend with the sexiest, most talented man in the world!
I definitely think People magazine has been getting it wrong for years with the "Sexiest Man Alive" issue - IT'S JUSTIN'S TURN!! (No offense, Mark Consuelos! ;-)
I hope they have medics on hand for all the swooning women on Friday!! Can't wait!! Woo Hoo!!

Happy early birthday! Three of the four in our group Friday are also celebrating our 30th birthdays - one was in Sept, one in December and mine was in January. Despite what those 20 year-olds say, 30 is great (smile). Hope your experience in Chicago is fantastic! Seize the day.

Heather, as a parent I would like to know what Justin Timberlake thinks were the greatest things his parents did to help him go after ALL of the things he dreams about doing. I love that he is not just a singer, or just an actor, but a singer, actor, designer . . . I just want my little girl to do everything she dreams about in this world, and if there is something particular I can do to help her do that, I'd like to know what it is (smile).

My question for JT: Okay, so he's on top of the world and has accomplished a lot! What's his ten year plan? What do you dream of when you make it as far as he has? Is it like a back to basics sort of thing? Or do you just continually explore new interests and opportunities?

Wow, Justin Timberlake...I must say he is on my "crush list" and my husband knows it :0) My questions: Do you dance to your own music outside of rehearsing or recording? What's the one goal that you have set for yourself that you haven't achieved yet? And lastly when is the new album coming?!

ASK JT THIS:

When is he gonna decide to settle down and have a family?

Hi Heather!
Please ask JT if he is working on a new album and when it will be out? I've watched all the talk shows he's been interviewed on and none of the hosts have asked him this question. He needs to come out with a new one. I love his music!!!

I've been dreaming up a show on fingerstyle guitar. I was introduced to the genre 3 years ago by a friend here in Nashville and I've just been fascinated. It's a way of playing guitar that actually uses all 10 fingers (instead of just strumming chords). It supposedly was created by African American guitarists who were trying to mimic the popular ragtime piano music of the day (I play piano, so this made sense to me). I read an article that said the most original work in music is coming from this genre. There are some amazing female fingerstyle guitarists, too. Kaki King is the latest phenom. Muriel Anderson is the only woman ever to win the National Fingerpicking Championship! One of her tracks is in Woody Allen's Oscar winner Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Most recently, Vicki Genfan was the first woman to win the "Guitar Superstar" annual competition in Los Angeles with an amazing song called "Atomic Reshuffle." Tommy Emmanuel is the Australian prodigy of Nashville legend Chet Atkins and is catching on here in the US like wildfire. Tommy's been called the best acoustic guitarist in the world -- recently received Guitar Player Magazine's "Legend" Award for 2009. Joe Robinson is a 16 year-old who just won the 2008 Australia's Got Talent playing fingerstyle guitar. A super-nice kid, too. Obviously, I'm hooked. I've never played guitar, but I'm trying to learn now because of all of the above. I've never seen people play this way. Please show the rest of the country how cool it is! :) -- Micah Leah

Hi, I did not find a place to make suggestions for shows so I'm going to leave it here. A lot of my friends and myself are or have had to deal with aging parents. There is their living situation, their health, their finances and their mental decline. I believe a show on this topic would be helpful to all. The is a big group of people in their 50's and 60's who are viewers and living through this. Thank you. Claudia

Thank you for having the video of JT singing 'You've Got A Friend' on the website. As crazy as this sounds, I'd like to be an Oprah for the up coming James Taylor/Carole King concert!! I've been a die hard fan since 1971. Their music was introduced to me by my best friend's sister, now a Chicago lawyer. The family moved and JT/Carole King were my friends & introduced to new friends. Here is my wish: gather the few friends, my mother, and sons for my dream of a lifetime. Be able to hand them both concert & air tickets, hotel reservations, and for us all to have one nice meal together!!
