Final Debate Is Enough PROOF To Vote For Obama

Sen. Barack Obama is promising "fundamental change."

Did you hear that McCain? I'll say it one more time.

Sen. Barack Hussein Obama has promised "fundamental change" for America.

Sure you're not George W. Bush, but you sure resemble him with all of your policies Sen. John McCain. The fact that you want to deviate taxes from big corporations and instead throw the taxation on the middle class is just atrocious, especially during a time of great recession in the United States economy.

America cannot afford such devious acts like that from John McCain, which would plunder America into a depression. McCain doesn't tell you this plan though because he knows the kind of reaction he'll get. Instead he'll passionately tell you that his rival will be increasing taxes for all Americans.

When has Barack said he would do that?

In the first debate, Barack Obama told the viewing audience that he would cut taxes for 95% of Americans. In the second debate, Barack relayed that same statement. Tonight in the third and final debate, he again stated tax cuts for 95% of Americans would be put to action when he is President in response to McCain's claims of him raising taxes.

I don't know what it is though because after Obama corrected McCain tonight, we again heard McCain state that Obama was going to raise taxes. Furthermore, John McCain said this would hurt "Joe the plumber," a name McCain brought up a lot which more or less became his gimmick of the night.

I feel like asking McCain if he's awake upstairs in that brain of his. How many times do you need Barack Obama to reiterate that he will be cutting taxes for 95% of Americas to better the economy and to better the overall financial structure for American citizens? Oh but John McCain said that his word is the truth and that he has the facts. Show me the facts John McCain. Show America because time is ticking, we're only less than a month away from elections and the best proof we've gotten so far is the word of Barack Obama with is factual reason for actions to be taken.

It sure was a last ditch effort tonight for John McCain though when he had to bring up Bill Ayers upon trying to connect Obama with the terrorist community. This has been an on-going attack by the McCain campaign and Barack's response was that, "he (Bill Ayers) has never been involved in my campaign, and he will not advise me in the White House."

In regards to the fact that McCain keepings bringing Bill Ayers up in the campaign, Obama explained that it, "says more about your campaign that it says about me." The next jab back from Obama was the stating of the fact that 100% of the ads produced by the McCain campaign are negative. McCain quickly blurted that this wasn't true, but just as fast as McCain quirked that out, Obama said, "it's true".

McCain's relentless attacks would continue when he said that Obama has not "repudiated" comments made last week by Republican John Lewis. It was on Saturday where Lewis used segregationist George Wallace's name as a comparison to the feeling at recent GOP rallies.

No problem though McCain, because by your request Obama put in his two cents on the issue. He responded by saying, "I think Congressman Lewis' point was that we have to be careful about how we deal with our supporters."

Obama would also add, "I do think that he inappropriately drew a comparison between what was happening there and what had happened during the civil rights movement, and we immediately put out a statement saying that we don't think that comparison is appropriate."

So as evident by Obama's comments at the debate, he did put out a statement immediately following the comparison made by John Lewis. John McCain either didn't go out of his way to find a statement, or he just chose to ignore it.

At recent rallies held by Gov. Sarah Palin, members of the crowd have shouted, "he's a terrorist," and, "kill him," in regards to Barack Obama. Sarah Palin did nothing to detract these allegations, and that's something Barack Obama also brought up. It's no wonder why the self-proclaimed "biggest hockey mom of America," Sarah Palin was heavily booed at a recent ceremonial puck dropping at the Philadelphia Flyers' season home opener.

In the event of something happening to Obama as President, God forbid it doesn't happen, but if it did Obama said that he fully trusts Joe Biden to take control with the same fundamental aspects for change as he diligently puts forth. Obama said that Biden knows what it's like to see his father lose his job and suffer during tough economic times. Biden has been in politics for the last 36 years, and he continues to work towards the common goal of bettering Americans at all costs because he believes in the American Dream without any corruption.

All McCain boasted about in regards to Sarah Palin was that she, "understands." Great McCain, just great; how about telling us why she understands? Or better yet, what about that situation recently allegations were made of her partaking a criminal act as Governor of Alaska? McCain, you're lucky Obama didn't have it in him to attack Palin tonight.

Realizing these small arguments that would only be pushed waist side during the height of being President, Barack Obama reminded everyone why he is here and it's for "fundamental" change. Change for healthcare, energy, and education, which will inevitably turn around the downward spiral of the economy.

That's the reason for Obama running for President, but it's obviously not why McCain is there because while he will give you back $5,000 for healthcare, he also plans to tax you on that rebate for the first time in American history.

It's an obvious choice America.

Tonight's debate was John McCain's last chance to prove why he can be a lending asset in helping the lives of American citizens. Instead, McCain continued to swim circles around questions and the fact of many troubling topics and in this case the third debate was not the charm the Republicans were hoping for.

Vote for Barack Obama come Election Day in November, and you'll be better off in the next four years. Not only will America be better, but so will your neighbours, and once again you can all celebrate in being a great friend to other nations.

Bush has done you all so much harm; it's time to charm up with Obama.

Barack Obama Is Not Cocky

Posted on Nov 2, 2008 1:22 PM

I would like to put in my two cents on the recent comments I received from my last blog. The comments were instigated by an anonymous commenter.

It's hard to fathom why some people in America are calling Barack Obama a cocky man. Like Ryan, another commenter of my last blog said, "COCKY over WHAT?"

How is Barack Obama cocky? I would really like to hear some reasons behind this belief.

Is it because he says he will be the next President of the United States of America? Well news flash people, EVERY candidate has been saying that from beginning of time, even John McCain. Is it only different this time because Obama is black?

Here in Canada we don't run into as many problems with race as the United States does. All races here are intermixed from the west to east coast. So because of that, I haven't really felt too qualified to even talk about race or racism. I have little to no experience with it and that's the reason why I have been hesitant to touch the subject, as an anonymous commenter brought up in regards to my blog on Obama and McCain yesterday.

There is a notion here in Canada that no matter your race, gender, or even religion, it does not interfere with your ability to pursue any endeavors as long as you have the education or experience to back it up. Canada is a melting pot of different nationalities and we love it that way, and we have become much better for it as a country with our diversity with unity.

Here is my view on the United States of America though. I believe it to be a united nation, a place where freedom is promoted and citizens alike can share a bond towards success. That's what the American Dream is supposed to be in my mind. With that though, the race card should not be a factor. The fact that we even have to talk about race is rather unsettling, as I don't see any reason to bash another race.

If race is the case for you not voting for Obama then that's just flat out wrong on so many levels. To the harshest degree, I would even call you are a coward. I would rightfully call you a coward because you are being ignorant for letting the stigma of race drive your unwarranted hate, when there's no other reason to hate.

If Barack Obama becomes the next President, I hope and pray that his racial background does not infringe on his future in the oval office. Of course his safety will be a huge concern when it comes to race, but if we had a black Prime Minister in Canada, there wouldn't be any controversy. We've already even beaten the Americans to the punch by having a woman run our nation when Kim Campbell took charge on June 25, 1993.

With that alone, it makes Canada a country that is much more open to diversity, and that's something I truly believe. I think some Americans are scared of breaking away from their own traditional beliefs but as each decade passes, we have to realize that evolution is a part of life and we must not stop that natural tradition.

Barack Obama Hits John McCain Into The Outfield

Posted on Nov 2, 2008 1:21 PM

Originally written: October 7, 2008

Sen. Barack Obama drew sky high marks tonight on CNN's response radar calculated by undecided Ohio voters, while Sen. John McCain drew a dead heart beat for the majority of the debate. The debate itself was moderated by Tom Brokaw of NBC News and in my mind, it was a no-contest win for Barack Obama tonight and here's why.

For the majority of the night, the current economic crisis was hammered on where Barack Obama immediately pointed out that while we have these rescue plans in place, we have to make sure that they work. By means of work, they must ensure that the middle class is included in the plans, and that jobs are kept and more are created.

For Obama, it's not satisfying to only see the people at the top of the food chain be taken care of when they're not the one's suffering financially. He stressed vigorously tonight that the middle class must not be left behind in restoration plans of American Dream.

On the other hand, we have John McCain who described the American people as, "angry, upset, and fearful." Adding that it is his job to fix these problems, and it deals squarely on energy independence, so he remarked that America must use its own. While I'll give him his due for the right idea, McCain failed to give examples on how he would suffice this plan.

Deviating from the rescue plan, McCain said that he will not raise anymore taxes, in probably thinking that such an unjustified claim would create happiness for the American citizens. What McCain forgets to mention about his plan though is that he will continue to tax the middle class citizens, while no longer taxing the upper class. This has been an on-going practice by the Republicans throughout the years.

I also found it funny that John McCain mentioned that while the economic crisis first broke out, he suspended his campaign and headed down to Washington to resolve some issues. Well while he did suspend his campaign and as a result cancel his David Letterman appearance, he happened to take another interview on the way to Washington with CBS Evening News.

What picture does that paint on John McCain's priorities there?

If you're going to do one thing, do it, but don't say it and sidetrack yourself. We don't want to see another President do those mistakes like that of George W. Bush.

In keeping with economics, Barack Obama added that wages and incomes have flat lined for many Americans today. It's harder to save, and harder to retire, and that is not the America we have all come to know. The difference between he and John McCain is that Obama does have a priority and it is to save the United States from this social unrest and he will start that on day one as the President by promptly taking action of his rescue plans.

After some obvious setbacks in the debate, McCain decided to sing the song he knows best and that's patriotism. He boasted that, "American workers are the best in the world," adding that, "We got to give them a chance to do their job again. We can do it."

The image I get of John McCain here is that of an American cheerleader, but if you take the "cheer" away, then you'll see what we're looking for and that's a "leader" in Barack Obama. McCain continued to speak though, adding that the system in Washington is broken, and that he has taken on the special interest.

Just "look at my record and his," he said. "Look at our proposals, some of which that will keep people in jobs and get our economy going again," later differentiating himself by saying that the American government has to follow the same policies as his hero, Ronald Reagan. McCain would also go on to say what he and Joe Lieberman have done to improve the economy, and while this storytelling was occurring, the CNN radar response among males and females of undecided Ohio voters was flat lined below average.

Once it came time for Barack's response, it was not only an intelligent answer, but also a coherent one, something that McCain was lacking all night. Obama essentially said that the continued bragging of Ronald Reagan is that of a deceiving approach in gaining your votes.

Relying on fact, McCain is a deregulator. When he tried to regulate to Wall Street nothing happened. McCain even states that the regulating bill to Wall Street is his own bill, but truth be told it isn't. Obama said that the rescue plan is not the end of the process, it is only the beginning and he will make sure it succeeds and that homeowners will stay in their homes.

Barack Obama further mentioned that he is confident about the American economy, "but we need leadership." Later proclaiming that, "We still have the 20th century regulatory system in the 21st century, so we need to change that."

Lobbyists and special interests need to leave the scene as well, and Obama promises to drive them out by changing the culture in Washington. John McCain has been stating for years that he has been fending off those same people, but whether he did try or not he has failed at all attempts.

Moving along to health care, John McCain promised a change. His healthcare plans look to be the same old, same old. The realization for an American citizen in need of health treatment is that he or she more often than not cannot be attended to. This is because of the insurance companies who claim you have a history of this illness either directly or indirectly through your family tree. Those same insurance companies are still going to receive their paychecks and tax deductions by McCain for not aiding you. Well that just won't cut it for Barack Obama.

"As I travel across the country, the healthcare issue is brought up most because it's breaking family budgets," said Obama. "Your premiums have doubled over the last 8 years. I have said from the start that we have a moral commitment to do something about this," and, "if you have health care already, then you can keep the plan if you're satisfied with it."

Obama continued to add that, "We will work with your employers to lower the premiums." Concluding on his healthcare plans, Obama said that the American people will finally get a chance to enjoy the same kind of healthcare that is enjoyed by himself and John McCain, or any other politician for that matter.

Most importantly however, Obama stated that, "No one can be denied from pre-existing conditions."

That last line mentioned by Obama is one that hits close to home because his own mother died at the age of 53 from cancer. She could not be helped in a country as wealthy as America because she had to argue on her death bed with insurance companies when they were claiming that the cancer was stemming from pre-existing natures within the family. How ridiculous is that?

In my country Canada, our healthcare system helps you no matter what your medical history is, much less your family medical history.

What makes my blood boil even more about that is the fact that John McCain wants to continue those practices and furthermore tax your employer based health care. Business organizations in response have said that John McCain's plans will unravel a disaster within the healthcare situation that already suffers today. It's no wonder that some American's are escaping to Canada or Cuba just to get free healthcare on a condition they have, as evident in Michael Moore's "Sicko" documentary film released in 2007.

The truth cannot be spelled out any clearer here. John McCain would rather take your money instead of saving your life. Please don't claim the Russians to be evil, when implementing such healthcare plans like that in your own country is devilish, not to mention how distorting it is over his self-boasted patriotism.

In referring back to the economic crisis though, Barack Obama put it best that while the American people have been carrying out their responsibilities, Washington has not done their part. He also recounts how when Bush came into office, the United States were riding high on surpluses with former President Bill Clinton. Now however, almost 10 trillion dollars have been lost in debt. The fact of the matter is that this is the largest increase in national debt in American history.

To fix this, Obama has laid out some key factors. One being that you cannot essentially stop all spending, so he'll prioritize his spending. He'll have to start with health care, followed with producing energy because the United States cannot keep bombarding China for energy.

In keeping with the energy factor, America suffers huge losses in buying barrels of oil today. While straining for families, it is also bad for national security because places like Iran are benefiting from these high gas prices. So the programs that don't work with today's economy in relations to energy must be eliminated, and the ones that do work must be continued, but at a cheaper price and most importantly tax policies must work for you.

So Obama explained that with energy, there is going to be the need for energy conservation. With that, Obama stated that he will explore other ways to get gas which will include offshore drilling and clean coal technology. Moreover, the American people will eventually be able to buy a fuel efficient car in the future that's made in the USA, and not Japan or China. On the other hand, John McCain has not supported any movement towards producing fuel efficient cars even though he claims "change" will be brought by his administration in helping our economy and our climate.

To ensure that energy consumption is improved, Obama will mandate the creation of volunteer cores so that military troops and families are not the only ones doing the duties. The volunteers will be educating the uneducated on what and how they can join the movement that will save them money in the end. John McCain does not want to go through lengths of such a procedure because he still wants your money from energy consumption. Prime example would be John McCain voting 23 times against alternative fuels.

You will be seeing some savings in your bank accounts because Barack Obama wants to provide a tax cut for 95% of Americans, despite McCain's claims of Obama wanting to raise the taxation percent. In fact, it is McCain who wants to raise the taxes for middleclass citizens because he wants to give a 300 billion dollar tax cut to large corporations and CEO's of Wall Street. That is indeed not fair, and it will not work because in Obama's mind, the tax policies must work with the middleclass too.

Barack Obama predicts that he will create five million new jobs in America, just like the computer produced a surplus in the economy in the 1990's. If such a procedure is put in effect, then America would once again be on its way to surplus measures, but it's not just the talk that has to be accounted for, it's the proof that such measures will be taken and Obama certainly has all the evidence.

John McCain overall provided no evidence on his future plans as President tonight, hence my rare mentions of movement plans of his tonight. I can't say anything positive about the man because all he did was tell stories on why he believes he has the experience, why he thinks he has the knowledge, and why he admires Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan certainly does not represent the "change" America needs and wants. It's time to move past that old guard, and that includes moving past John McCain.

McCain later point out that Barack Obama is not someone the Americans need as the next President because, "there's no time for on the job training."

The comment I really disliked from John McCain though was when he referred to Barack Obama as, "that one," when trying to backtalk the energy plans put forth by Obama. I didn't make much of the fact that McCain made no eye contact with Obama in the first debate in my blog yesterday titled, "A Guilty McCain Tries To Change The Subject," but to refer to him as "that one" tonight just seemed very racial discriminate-like from my perspective. I again will not dive into that matter though because I think such a matter like that should not be an issue here in a setting like this, especially during a period like this when the economy is the most important factor. If McCain wants to continue these trends though, then I may just have to voice my views further on this.

Moving onto the War on Terror, the Iraqi's now have a 79 billion dollar surplus while the United States is spending 10 billion dollars a month in Iraq. This is money the United States cannot afford to lose. That money is in fact needed to put people back in jobs and boost the economy again. While these wrongs cannot be corrected under the Bush Administration, they unfortunately cannot be corrected under a McCain Administration either.

Barack Obama makes an obvious point that military forces should be refocused on Afghanistan. Citing the fact that Obama does not even understand why we are in Iraq, McCain says he will not leave that nation until we "win,"and that Obama would rather leave "in defeat."

Obama clarifies what he meant though when he said he did not understand. He says that he does not understand why they are there when Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda are hiding in Afghanistan. "It was a bad judgment call by going to Iraq," said Barack Obama upon further clarifying his misunderstanding of going to Iraq.

Regarding the difficult situation with Pakistan, Obama said he would look to encourage democracy while also encouraging them to go after the terrorists in the Middle East. If Pakistan decides not to side with the United States though, Obama says, "we will do it ourselves and kill Bin Laden."

McCain went on to say how he knows how hard it is to send young Americans into battle. He also tried to say how tough talk was not the key to success, in referring to Obama's "killing" talk of Bin Laden. However, it was a failed attempt on McCain's behalf to belittle Obama, and even a failed attempt of quoting Obama. So McCain rambled off on saying how he would negotiate with Iran to side with America to prevent the nuclear weapons from spreading throughout the Middle East.

Barack Obama offered some clarification by adding that no one will call for an invasion of Pakistan, and again saying that if Pakistan is unable or unwilling to hunt down Bin Laden, "then we should."

"They are threatening to kill more Americans," said Obama, "while McCain is saying bomb, bomb, bomb Iran," and even, "called for an invasion of North Korea." This goes against McCain's earlier claims in the debate in wanting to gain Iran as an ally, just before this statement by Obama.

The United States was far from finishing up in Afghanistan but the Republicans pushed hard to invade Baghdad over greedy measures. What Barack Obama claims to be imperative is for the Iraqi government to take more responsibility of their own country, which will allocate Obama the leverage to withdraw American troops over time. This in turn will enable more troops to relocate to Afghanistan where they can complete the real mission there.

Topics including Russia, the new Cold War, and Georgia were also touched upon and for someone like John McCain who claims to be an expert on such subjects as these; he really failed to impress me tonight. He gave no substance to the matter and never sided to one position, ultimately saying not everyone would agree with him. Well that's politics McCain, and you have failed right there in living up to your job title as a politician. Barack Obama resembled being a veteran when touching upon these subjects and that was a surprising knockout win for Obama.

Besides the war, Barack Obama also undoubtedly hit McCain into the outfield when touching on subjects like healthcare, energy, and the economy. Fundamental change is what is needed, and that's the reason why Barack Obama says he is here to serve, and that's the reason why he is running for President of the United States. With John McCain, I get the sense that he is saying whatever he can just to win the election, and if he wins he'll revert to his personal agenda.

The difference between Barack Obama and John McCain is that while they say they're here to serve the American people, only one candidate has provided evidence of this claim. As a result, this makes the choice for voting between the two come Election Day a very easy one.

Barack Obama will be the 44th President of the United States of America.

A Guilty McCain Tries To Change The Subject

Sen. John McCain has suddenly swayed away from the economic crisis. With the help of Gov. Sarah Palin, he has gone back to his dirty tricks by landing out some personal attacks on Sen. Barack Obama by calling him, "dishonorable" and, "too risky."

In fact, Sarah Palin has recently been repeating a statement where Obama remarked in the past that the troops in Afghanistan are, "just air-raiding villages and killing civilians."

Truthfully speaking, that statement by Obama has some truth in relations to the whole scheme of the War on Terror. The US Army has in fact been in the skies dropping bombs with no clear purpose but to kill. Kill who you might ask, well there really is no clear target but the "terrorists." Only problem here is we have no definite location on these terrorists, so the Americans decide to bomb everyone including civilian families, mothers, and children.

Just stop and think about those tragic situations happening in the Middle East. Think about all the terror the Americans are causing to good hearted human beings. Now play that same picture in reverse. Picture yourself in fear. Picture yourself being terrorized, and picture your livelihood in jeopardy. Loved ones killed for no reason but greed. It's not a satisfying picture is it?

You don't see or hear this on your television because the media picks and chooses what they want to show and report.

Look at what the media did show though. Take the Iraq war for example, a moment in history that became a public entertainment-like scene on CNN when the Americans invaded Baghdad in April 2003. It was an air-raid that eventually turned into a ground level tank-raid once the Iraqi's were deemed weak enough to be ambushed and taken over. The US Army seized the airports and Presidential palace, while suddenly the media was playing up the American savior anthems for the good of the world.

If you look at the big picture though, with all the wrongs the Americans did in Iraq, I feel less safe today. Not only financially with the economic crisis, but also my life feels at risk with the constant threats of military action around the world. It feels like a prelude to World War III.

Whom can we attribute all this disturbing future unrest towards? We can point the fingers to President George W. Bush, the Republicans, and yes Sen. John McCain, your current Republican Presidential candidate for 2008.

So what was the purpose of invading Iraq anyway? Was it to avenge the 9/11 attacks? Come on, you can't fool us with that one anymore. Or was it because of the "weapons of mass destruction?" You won't be able to lure us in with that one anymore Bush.

In a recent McCain advert, they have attacked Barack Obama for that statement on Afghanistan I mentioned earlier. In the process, the ad states that, "Congressional liberals voted repeatedly to cut off funding to our troops. Increasing the risk on lives." The ad then went on to conclude with a simple line adding, "How dangerous."

All this in trying to paint Barack Obama as the dangerous choice come Election Day. In turn they hope this makes you believe that John McCain and Sarah Palin are the safer choice.

Be careful of your actions though John McCain because what you thought may have gained you supporters, could moreover be perpetrated against you in a stiff way. The Obama campaign has dug up some dirt facts on John McCain in relations to the economic crisis, a topic McCain has reared away from.

I received an e-mail from Barack Obama's newsletter today that gave me a link to the launching of a multimedia campaign that was produced to draw attention to John McCain and his involvement with the "Keating Five" savings-and-loan scandal in 1989-1991. This was a tarnishing event towards the public image of John McCain at the time and it's been kept quiet in the national spotlight till now.

Not only did I receive this e-mail, but so did millions of others around the world. The link provided was a direction to website they created specifically for this topic, which has a 13-minute documentary on the scandal.

With regards to this backfiring release of information against John McCain, the Obama-Biden communications director Dan Pfieffer said, "While John McCain may want to turn the page on his erratic response to the current economic crisis; we think voters will find his involvement in a similar crisis to be particularly interesting. His involvement with Keating is a window into McCain's economic past, present, and future."

The e-mail also goes lengths with the following message:

"During the savings and loan crisis of the late '80s and early '90s, McCain's political favors and aggressive support for deregulation put him at the center of the fall of Lincoln Savings and Loan, one of the largest in the country. More than 23,000 investors lost their savings. Overall, the savings and loan crisis required the federal government to bail out the savings of hundreds of thousands of families and ultimately cost American taxpayers $124 billion.

Sound familiar?

In that crisis, John McCain and his political patron, Charles Keating, played central roles that ultimately landed Keating in jail for fraud and McCain in front of the Senate Ethics Committee. The McCain campaign has tried to avoid talking about the scandal, but with so many parallels to the current crisis, McCain's Keating history is relevant and voters deserve to know the facts -- and see for themselves the pattern of poor judgment by John McCain."

Is this the American Dream? Is this the man who should be running the United States of America as President? Could John McCain, the former fraudulent, be the man who carries us one by one out of the economic hole of disaster?

Three words - not one chance.

If John McCain and Sarah Palin cannot prove to the American people that they are worthy of your vote with some factual positive benefits of self-promotion, then why choose them when their opposition is in fact providing the opposite?

Barack Obama has been promoting "change" from the get-go, whereas John McCain has been on a full-fledged attack of his opponent with the intentions of tearing him down. It's a desperate attempt if you ask me, and if that's the "change" that McCain and Palin are trying to promote then I foresee another Civil War in America coming up.

The fact of the matter is that we are in a financial-economic crisis, and it will lead to another Great Depression if we put it on the backburner like John McCain has done. Barack Obama recognizes the threats and he promises "change" with action.

I encourage you all to tune in tomorrow to the second Presidential Debate. In the last debate you could really sense the fear spelled all over John McCain. He deviated from any acknowledgement of his rival, Barack Obama, nor did he give much eye contact. It was almost like discrimination on McCain's part if you ask me, but I won't go that far, I think it was more fear.

With all this dirt on McCain now reinstilled upon the American people, I find it to be very interesting on how things will play out tomorrow. Just remember one thing; Barack Obama is not here to attack. He's here to "change" the course of action plans for tomorrow's America upon moving forward in a positive direction, and he will defend what's right.

I just wanted to touch on a hot topic that I find comes up every so often when talking to my colleagues here in Canada.

Commonly known as the North American Union, but recently evolved into the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America, I find a lot of Canadians believe that one day we may be engulfed by the United States economically. It's a thought that increases awareness today more than ever because of the current economic crisis.

Theoretically the North American Union has been around since the mid-19th century. Countries that bonded within the union were Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America, and various other South American countries unofficially.

Fast forward to the 21st century and we have a new union of sorts. On March 23, 2005 in Waco, Texas (or Bush country as I like to call it), a new partnership was established. It was the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America, signed by Prime Minister Paul Martin of Canada at the time, President Vincente Fox of Mexico, and of course President George W. Bush.

What the partnership aims to do is to dramatically alter national legislatures of each respective country by instilling change in the economic and political status quo. Such tasks however have not been fully implemented, nor will they be until 2010. We know this because the Independent Task Force of North America reported and praised the SPP initiative in May 2005 of these future plans.

In simplicity, this could mean that by 2010 you can say goodbye to citizenship of individuality. The political borders of Canada, USA, and Mexico will no longer be as meaningful as it once was. We will be under one bubble, the North American bubble, much like most European countries are now under the European Union. In fact, the now prior currencies of each respective European country were scrapped in favour of a new European Union currency, the Euro dollar.

When I travelled to Europe in 1996 and 2000, I had to show my passport when crossing the borders along my travels. Last year in 2007 after the incorporation of Euro in 2002, I no longer had to show a passport when crossing a political border, much less go through any border patrol because there were none!

Fact has it that with the current economic crisis occurring, there cannot be a better time than now to wipe the US dollar clean and start fresh. How could the Americans possibly survive with such a high stakes move though?

Before I answer that, did you know that all oil in the world is paid for in US dollar? That's right, the US dollar has become what some people like to call "Monopoly" money, in essence because the US dollar is continuously reprinted. This makes the US currency eventually worthless in the end. That's part of the reason in why we are witnessing such a drastic economic crash right now that could reach down to the lengths of great depression status in the near future.

Now reverting back to the first question as to how the United States could survive such a high stakes move of wiping their dollar clean, well it's simple really. Take Canada and Mexico with you!

If it were today, tomorrow, or 2010, the likely tanking of the US dollar would force Canada and Mexico to execute theirs and join forces with the Americans as per the SPP agreement that was signed back in 2005. What we would get is what many people are labeling the "Amero" dollar.

Do I like it? No way!

It would mean that us Canadians are glued to the hips with the United States and Mexico. So if the economy in Mexico is horrendous, or Florida was hit with a hurricane, then the economy suffers all over North America because we will be one. Yes I know we all would suffer to some degree in instances like that today, but if we're joined together tomorrow then those instances automatically will become direct burdens on all of us rather than the small bruise we were given before.

You think gas prices are bad today? Wait until 2010!

The western world will not be a fun place to live in within the next year or two if we do go down this grueling road that would without a doubt label the US dollar a dead commodity. Today's economic crisis is no better wakeup call than you're ever going to get.

Sooner or later it will be too late. Sooner or later you might as well call Canada the 51st state and Mexico the 52nd state of the United States of America because that's what would essentially happen.

What can we do to stop this? Conserve.

Conserve in every imaginable way and that will save money. Every action you pursue for an X amount of time is likely to cost you and your country. If you're at a strip mall and across the road there's a restaurant, don't drive there just walk there. Gas stations are actually running out of gas now and that spells major trouble for the economy.

Turn off your house lights if you're not using them after 10 minutes, and turn off your computer if you're not using it. You don't need to use more electricity than you need at present, and that will do you well on your electrical bill and your economy because then there's more electricity for wider use.

It's time to wake up North America!

Simply put, Sen. Joe Biden gave the best debate of his life. He thoroughly answered each and every question, and responded judiciously to all topics at hand. Gov. Sarah Palin on the other hand did not respond intelligently to most topics, and instead gave the impression that she would be picking and choosing which matters she would like to respond to.

I will say it right now, Sarah Palin proved to me and everyone else who watched today that she is fully NOT qualified to be the Vice President, and fully NOT qualified in being a "heartbeat" away from being the next President of the United States of America. Prime reason for my remark is that when moderator Gwen Ifill questioned what the differences would be between a Palin Administration and a McCain Administrator, it was Palin herself that came out ducking with no clear cut answer.

"McCain is a maverick," she said. "McCain cares for America." How about the questions at present in debate?

After hearing the term "maverick" time after time, because Palin had nothing else to say, Joe Biden finally had enough and said quite bluntly that while John McCain has been a "maverick" on a few issues, "he has been no maverick on the issues that matter to people's lives." Instead, John McCain is an oil-hungry being with a blood thirst mentality starved for more war, and in the process he's got the silver spoon stuck in his mouth.

The last Democratic President, Bill Clinton was there for the AMERICAN PEOPLE and remember the economic surplus America had during his run in the oval office? He put the people's interests first and the results saw America with billions of dollars in surplus. Republican, George W. Bush is and will have always been President for HIMSELF, also with his silver spoon. Look at the trillion dollars of debt America now suffers as a result. Today, John McCain is offering four more years of debt and a continued economic plunder into the next Great Depression.

Reverting back to the administration question asked by Gwen Ifill, Joe Biden said that a Biden Administration would parallel an Obama Administration. Good answer.

Sarah Palin continued her cheerleading for McCain when she said that he cares for America, so he will be cutting taxes for the American people. Then, with a glowing smile on her face she uttered that Sen. Barack Obama plans to raise taxes. Joe Biden immediately dismissed that notion by offering their structural plan for taxes that will be dependent and differentiated on household incomes of the American people.

Still relating to the taxations topic, Joe Biden decided to take a shot of his own in saying that McCain plans on increasing taxed health care with the money going straight to the money-thirst insurance companies and ultimately crossing, "the ultimate bridge to nowhere," - an interchangeable jab also towards Sarah Palin on her controversial failed "Bridge to Nowhere" project in Alaska.

The vibe I got was that Palin seemed to be disagreeing with Biden just for the sake of disagreement because she had no clue. She even went on to say that tomorrow morning the media will be picking apart their words.

Are you kidding me?

Sarah Palin is someone we should not be seeing at a debate. Get this though; she even threw in a quick shout out to third graders of an elementary school back home in Alaska. I mean how much more ridiculous can Palin get with her remarks in a debate that will serve, "the most important election in American history," as Joe Biden put it.

The only passing grades Sarah Palin receives from me are for the category of falsehood remarks. She clearly had no knowledge of any topics brought up by moderator Gwen Ifill of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

The response radar at the bottom of the television screen on CNN of undecided Ohio voters very much reflected my thoughts tonight. Initially they had a high approval rating for Gov. Sarah Palin because they had an interest in seeing how well she would cope with the debate tonight in comparison to her horrendously conducted interview earlier in the week with Katie Couric. As the tough questions rolled with non-relating answers fired back that more or less translated into rally type gesture upon being cut off numerous times by moderator Gwen Ifill, the tide quickly changed towards favouring Joe Biden during the debate.

Not only was the response radar a landslide win for Biden, but so was his outlook on global warming. Palin stated that she believes global warming stems from natural causes.

"If you don't know what the cause is, then it's clear that you don't know the solution," replied Biden.

Joe Biden explained that global warming is man-made. He gave many key examples from around the world in where global warming is obvious, one of which includes China. We saw the problems at hand during the 2008 Bejing Summer Olympics. The air quality was terribly below par for athletes coming in and it was to the point where they had to shut down every factory in the regional area for the entire time span of the Olympics.

Lastly, Joe Biden brought up the War on Terror. He told us that during the first three weeks of attacks in Iraq, Bush spent more money during that time than any other aspect of American interests within the past six and half years. More of the same mistakes are promised with McCain because he is, "dead wrong on fundamental aspects of the War on Terror."

We should not have been in Iraq in the first place, nor should we continue to be there explained Biden. Instead, himself and Barack Obama will set their sights on Afghanistan and Pakistan where Al Qaeda really are, and most importantly where Osama Bin Laden is and do remember that he was the one who orchestrated 9/11, not Saddam Hussein.

Bottom line, Sarah Palin's paled with her excessive rambling and incompetence to respond to vital issues during a critical era. If John McCain cannot make an acute decision on choosing his running mate, then McCain is undoubtedly not ready to serve the United States of America with acute decisions that will affect American and foreign interests. McCain is not serving you; he is serving HIMSELF like George W. Bush has done.

Together, Barack Obama and Joe Biden will be serving you a better America and a better future. Change is their aim and knowledge such as theirs with readiness will make them ready on day one in the White House to make the important decisions that will affect our lives. It's not a self-interest for them, it's a beyond self-interest to the masses.

For a Canadian like myself, I fully endorse Barack Hussein Obama and Joseph Robinette Biden of the Democratic Party for the 2008 Presidential ticket.

My Blog Plans

Hi everyone,

So this is my second blog ever in just two days, pretty good eh? Well, I'm going to try and make it a once per week minimum type of deal. Truth be told, I love writing but unfortunately I do not have all the time in the world to write all the time.

Currently I am going to the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Burnaby, BC and it is tough! I'm enrolled in the Marketing Management and Communications program, and it's like a four year university program condensed down to two years. This means the semesters will drive you haywire because you're bombarded with seven courses each semester. Speaking of which, I am at school right now and I'll have to sign off of this entry because we're about to start our first lecture of the day with... Accounting! Fun right?

So that's basically my excuse for not writing as much as I would like to, but we'll see what I can do. Don't forget that I am also in the process of launching my own company with my father, Kris, which is something I've been eagerly working on as of late.

As for my blogs, expect to read up on matters concerning general life situations, school, politics, current events, sports, and other miscellaneous topics.

Ciao for now!

Marcus Cygy Reverting To Marcus Cyganiak

The Marcus Cygy you may or may not have been following for the past few years is indeed me, Marcus Cyganiak - my real name. So why go by the name of Cygy in the first place, and why the sudden switchback to a name that is relatively unknown? Well sit back and keep on reading because I'm going to indulge you on not only an inspirational part of my life, but also a very important time in my life where dreams became a reality and thereafter a realization of future success.

During my youth my name was often too hard to pronounce for many people. Instead of the correct pronunciation for Cyganiak, which should be "Sig-an-yak," people were saying "Si-jan-e-ak," or some other absurd attempts. All I could do was correct, correct, and correct people time after time to the point where I didn't care anymore.

In the year 2000 I moved up from Cedar Drive Elementary School to Minnekhada Middle School in Port Coquitlam. Being in a new class setting for the sixth grade amongst many new faces, I had to introduce myself in proper full first and last name form. Once I blurted out my name it was a sure thing to see eyebrows raised and confusion spelt across many of the students' faces, and even the teacher.

After meeting all my classmates in grade six, it was a friend I would make and keep to this day that started calling me "Ziggy," in place of my hard last name. Over time that name would transcend into a more suitable replacement for Cyganiak, where I basically shortened the name in the form of "Cygy" - thus "Marcus Cygy" was born.

Grade six became grade seven. Grade seven became grade eight, and before I knew it I was attending Terry Fox Secondary School for grade nine in September 2003. By that time the name "Cygy" became a popular entity for me locally at the minor hockey league levels, as I was playing my sixth season as a hockey player. The name, "Marcus Cygy," which was pronounced "Marcus Sig-e," would reach unimaginable heights I could have only dreamt of pursuing once I reached the end of ninth grade in June 2004.

In the classic ‘right time, right place' type of thing, I was hired by TNA Entertainment, LLC., better known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling out of Nashville, Tennessee and Orlando, Florida on Spike TV. Long story short, "Marcus Cygy" became a man with many titles within the company, which included associate web developer, graphic developer, online public co-administrator, and writer.

Among my various writing projects for TNA, I was penning the regular, Cygy's View column, which became a popular hit on TNA Wrestling's website. I was also writing the weekly "iMPACT!" on Spike TV results for both the TNA Wrestling website and the Spike TV website. In addition, I was writing live Pay-Per-View results on the fly each month, plus other informational articles.

All this would not have happened though if it were not for my grandpa, Alfredo Vannucci, who introduced me to wrestling in 1994 with a classic Bret "Hitman" Hart match. Credit also has to go towards the birth of my nickname I alluded to earlier. So it was definitely a dream that became a reality for me when I landed my job with TNA, because as a young child I had always wanted to work for either the WWF or the now defunct WCW, and the relatively new TNA promotion that was established in 2002, was just as good for me.

After leaving TNA Wrestling completely in September 2007 on my own terms, I had built up such a big name within the wrestling industry. The name, "Marcus Cygy," was getting offers left and right from not only independent wrestling promotions, but also big leaguers. I have however decided to keep all that information strictly confidential at this time since an offer is still on the table in the future if I ever wanted to accept it.

In addition to all the offers, I was interviewed by a few publications in the United States to serve as an inspiration to young upcoming workers, with a general message stating that anything is possible if you apply yourself and put your mind to it. Just a month shy of turning 15 years old, I was able to land a job with a national television wrestling company. How many people can say that?

I will without a doubt always be thankful for everything TNA ever gave me as far as experience goes. It opened up a wide variety of opportunities that I am still discovering to this day, and it's a thrill!

Looking back at the incredible ride, I realize I was portraying myself within two separate entities: "Marcus Cygy" in the United States, and my other self, "Marcus Cyganiak" in Canada - the real me.

At this point in my life I find myself at a crossroads, much like former WWE Champion, The Rock found himself when transitioning from wrestling to Hollywood. The gimmicked name, "The Rock," is what brought Dwayne Johnson to the dance, so that's what he first used in his films to retain his fame. From there he slowly transitioned into Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, to familiarize his old and new fans with his real name until finally scrapping "The Rock" name entirely. Now he simply goes by "Dwayne Johnson."

Within the past year I have begun transitioning myself out of the wrestling world and into the business world. Fans of my work have probably begun realizing that many of my entities of the Cygy synergy have either been fading off or shutting down. I'm talking about such sites like my official Marcus Cygy website, among many others.

The sole reason for this is because I have come to the realization that "Marcus Cygy" is no longer, in my view, a viable profitable option for myself, nor is it even my given legal name. Sure it was a great gimmick or pen name; whatever you want to call it, but for today's times the name does not fit according to my future plans. My plans include a big financial step with regard to the real estate economy. It is for that reason why I believe it to be imperative on my part to now revert back to my birth name and forever reference myself as such.

Whether you know how to say my name or not right now, you will soon learn to say Cyganiak because I'll be sticking around for a long time in my post-wrestling life. That's not to say that I'm no longer a wrestling fan because I truly still am, but it is to say that I will no longer be working in that business at this time.

Whether all Cygy endeavors are completely ended or not remains to be seen at this time. If I do have time I would for sure like to continue some of my sites as a personal interest point of view, but we'll have to see if I'm capable of finding that time down the line.

Till next time, this is Marcus Cyganiak signing off of my very first blog, ciao!
