No I'm not talking about the 1993 hit single "What Is Love" by Haddaway. I'm talking about the meaning of real true love.
I'm no expert for love. Quite frankly I'm just 19 years old, but I do have an opinion on the meaning of what true love really is.
In most cases, a healthy relationship between man and woman does not happen overnight. That potential long lasting bond must first go through testing waters such as dating before it transcends further. If you go too fast, chances are it will fail.
When it comes to relationships I'm a firm believer that you must first find mutuality of invested interest. If that's not present then there's really no point.
To attract the love, you must display your emotions, and thus you retain the love by the emotions you possess. You'll know when you've found the right person when you find yourself wishing to do things for, to sacrifice for, and to serve and receive, but not take - that's real true love.
Through those emotions you will have realized that the person you have invested interest in will be the person you want to spend time with for the rest of your life. By then you will have discovered mutual love through honesty along with loyalty. These are crucial key emotions in a relationship, right next to loving.
Through those emotions you will have to support one another through thick and thin. Make sure your support is enough to be appreciated. No matter the slips, you always mend and move on upon supporting one another. Get the point? Support, support!
Finally we have passion. The best way I can explain passion in a relationship is the fact that you perfected the previous key steps. If you can master through those, then you're well on your way to displaying passion for love with your partner in the purist form of true love.

What is love? The ability to forgive yourself and others for being human. It is with all the imperfection that being human brings that inspires human beings to perfection. We are perfect in our imperfection and the embodiment of all that is love.
