You're right Larry, there seems to be no end in sight with regard to job loss in America. So what is the solution you ask? Well I'm in no position to make a deciding solution for the economy like President George W. Bush could, or even President-elect Barack Obama.

I do have an idea for the rest of us though. Every regular citizen can and should do their part in finding a short-term solution and look no further for that than budgeting.

Companies and business owners across the country have to make better calculated decisions on running their trade. They need to engage in better financial practices that still connect with the sole purpose and objective of their given business. Everyone's been talking about going green, well Larry it's time for everyone to get smart!

During a recession or depression, citizens find themselves spending much less than they would prior to an economic crisis. Even if some people are not suffering financially, they will still have that fear surrounding them and evoking them to spend less. Fear forces people to act a certain way and the best example I could give you would be in 2003 when George W. Bush was shouting that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. So suddenly the American people wanted justice to be served to the Iraqis, only for us to find out later that the weapons of mass destruction claim perpetrated by President Bush was nothing but a fearful leveraging act to dictate a war for his own contorted agenda.

So until further notice from either President Bush, which is highly unlikely, or President-elect Obama, there's nothing the American people can really do besides cutting their budgets down to necessities.
