CNN - Cafferty File question: Are Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid the right leaders for the new Congress?

Despite Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid's past history, I believe they are capable legislators while being the right leaders put in place by President-elect Barack Obama.

Simple reason is that Obama is dictating a new direction for the Democratic party moving forward, while also feeding the Republicans with goodwill by hiring a select few into his cabinet and administration. I believe this will essentially change the way the American government is run because of this new united-feel put forth.

I do not feel we can accurately judge the leadership in new Congress until we see it executed. However, I would surely bet that we will see a better outcome within the next 4-years rather than what we saw in the past 8-years under President George W. Bush.
