Cocky is not an attitude any Obama supporter should be expressing right now. That's not just my perspective, it's Barack Obama's perspective too.
The man that many people have accused as supposedly being cocky, is now throwing the ball in everyone else's court. It's the supporters' duty to not be cocky or overconfident.
"For those of you who are feeling giddy or cocky and think this is all set, I just have two words for you: New Hampshire," said Obama.
"We've got 19 days," said Obama. "We're going to have to work absolutely as hard as we've ever worked in our lives in order to just get to the start of what is going to be a very difficult and very challenging but ultimately a very fulfilling four years where we can get this country back on track."
Democrats especially know and remember what happened in the 2000 Election when Al Gore seemingly won the Presidential election against George W. Bush. After miscommunications occurred in Florida, the premature decision within the public eye was reversed in favour of Bush.
That is a prime example of being overconfident during an election, and an example like that is definitely to the harshest degree. Democrats cannot repeat that same notion with New Hampshire, or any state for that matter, or else they'll be suffering the same fate 8 years later from the time of 2000.
It's time for a change and Barack Obama will render that change for America.
Stick to the plan, and stick to your pick Barack Hussein Obama. I cannot harp enough how everyone who invests their vote in Obama will be a greatly reimbursed with an upswing to the entire economic structure of America when it comes to energy, education, and healthcare. He can do no wrong with the propositions he's laid out upon fruition.
The voters that will be sending the biggest message on Election Day this year will be the ones who vote because America needs a drastic change, but not because they favour one party more than the other. When times are difficult, drastic measures call for drastic change and by voting outside of your norms you can make the first big change.
