I read in one of the posts that someone had said that the 8 people on the karaoke contest are supossed to be the best of all that sent a video in, Well thats not the truth, I have heard a lot better some that would knock your socks off, I play karaoke and I do it in a different way than most I only play at family get togethers or local parties. I do not play in bars and I have found that there is alot of people out there that can sing extremely well.

What I look for in a singer is ( a singer ) not what they call an entertainer, I mean singer, someone who can stand there and mesmerize you with there voice, someone who can hit the ranges and tones, I am not talking about someone who can yoddle there voice through the whole song I am talking about a singer, no training, just everyday joe or jane, with a god givin talent.

Maybe Oprah will do another contest and really look for that type of singer. they are out there and they will surprise you and some may make you cry from the beauty of voice.
