Hypertension & High Blood Pressure

Posted on Nov 7, 2009 2:39 PM

In 2/2009, I was officially diagnosed with Hypertension/High Blood Pressure. In 9/2009, my blood pressure reading was 165/137. Due to me being a naturalist, I have refused to take traditional medicines, such as, Linsoprel and/or Beta Blockers. My intensive research found that traditonal medicines have long-term rebound effects, such as, kidney failure, swelling, hair loss, etc. In researching herbal remedies, I found that the herbs, Holy Basil and Rhiodola, were effective in warding off stress and cortisol; and Garlic Bulbs/Pills were effective in thinning out my blood to a degree. However, I found that the herb, Hawthorne, and the vitamin, Coenzyme Q10, were the most effective. Hawthorne, alone, readily reduced my blood pressure from 165/137 to 135/60 within 24 hours. I started taking Hawthorn on 9/17/2009. As of today, 11/7/2009, my blood pressure consistently remains under 120/60. In addtion to Hawthorne, it is important to maintain a healthy diet, water intake, excercise, and sleep. I am grateful that I was able to lower my blood pressure without traditional medicines. I hope this helps anyone, who might be struggling with hypertension.
