Learning to Love You More
158 pages; Prestel Take a flash photo under your bed. Re-create a poster you had as a teenager. Snap a picture of strangers holding hands. Draw a constellation using someone's freckles. These are only a few of the assignments that, over the past five years, writer-filmmaker Miranda July and artist Harrell Fletcher's Web site (learningtolove youmore.com) has given to its visitors. The results, posted on the site and now collected in Learning to Love You More (Prestel), are a testament to the originality, the honesty, and the quirky creativity of the thousands of responses from Web surfers inspired to look around and inside themselves, and to transform one corner of cyberspace into an intimate, friendlier place.
