I happen to love Charlotte Olympia accessories—the London-based designer’s creations are always witty, feminine and sexy. And her latest capsule collections don’t disappoint: Birthday Shoes features supersoft suede flats embellished with an enamel zodiac symbol and Swarovski crystals, a different design and color scheme for each of the 12 star signs. (Zodiac Pandora is a line of Perspex clutches that match each shoe.) I think they’re so fabulous; in fact, I’m getting a pair of the light gray Aquarius shoes for Oprah. Shoes, $695, bags $995; Charlotteolympia.com
Anyone who knows me knows I love animals, especially dogs. (Don’t believe me? Look at the cuties I cast in a skirt story last October). That's why I’m crazy about the new, expanded Our Cause for Paws collection from London Jewelers. With items like turquoise and yellow gold charm bracelets and sterling silver mini-paw earrings, each piece is not only beautiful—a portion of each sale benefits the Rescue Paw Foundation, a New York-based charity that funds no-kill animal shelters throughout the country. The most woof-worthy part? More than 3,000 dogs have been rescued so far. Prices start at $49; LondonJewelers.com
Oprah has been busy getting the freshest harvest for her homemade sorbet. See what she posted on Instagram and Twitter.
"Just had delicious Cuban lunch with @GloriaEstefan and Emilio. Then we danced the Conga!"—Oprah
Filled with gorgeous photography (just try to look at the shot of the ice cream studded with chocolate, cookies and fruit without your mouth watering), accessible recipes and smart articles on everything from a cheese-centric microbiologist to model Karlie Kloss’s burgeoning cookie empire, the new magazine Cherry Bombe is one delicious mix.
"Brunch with @iamTikaSumpter. She really is delightful. The role she plays is not so."—Oprah
(See Tika, who plays Candace on Tyler Perry's The Haves and Have Nots, tonight at 9/8c.)
"Just saw LUCKY GUY—Tom Hanks and whole cast. Reeaaaally great! Wish I was a Tony voter."—Oprah
Oprah has a very special afternoon planned—she's in Cambridge, Massachusetts, serving as this year's commencement speaker at Harvard University.
Log on here at 2:30 p.m. ET today, where we'll be live-streaming Oprah's address to the students, alumni, faculty, community and, most importantly, new graduates. The event will last from 90 minutes to two hours.
Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan got a big surprise while filming Live with Kelly and Michael this morning. They were expecting entertainment mogul Tyler Perry to stop by to promote his new drama for OWN, The Haves and the Have Nots, but they weren't expecting him to bring along Oprah.
After the show, Oprah posted a snap of Kelly and Michael's reaction on Facebook.
