The Oprah Winfrey Show Tuesday, May 12. This special Best of Dr. Oz farewell episode marks his last
Oprah Show appearance before launching
The Dr. Oz Show in syndication on Monday, September 14.
Moving personal stories and extraordinary surprises are featured throughout the hour as Dr. Oz meets viewers who share how his advice saved their lives. From
those who noticed life-threatening diseases their doctors missed to
those who lost weight thanks to diet tips from Dr. Oz, real people step forward to offer their thanks to "America's Doctor." Plus, it's the reunion that Dr. Oz never imagined would happen, as
Oprah Show producers track down a young boy he cared for in the aftermath of
Hurricane Katrina and the two reunite for the first time.
Memorable show guests are also featured, from those whose embarrassing questions sparked a national conversation to those whose journeys touched viewers' hearts.
Jai Pausch, widow of Randy Pausch, professor and author of the best-selling The Last Lecture, remembers his visit to
The Oprah Show and speaks about his legacy today.
