Exclusive Oprah Show Interviews in May

CHICAGO â Coming this May, The Oprah Winfrey Show will present three exclusive TV interviews with the people behind the headline-making stories that have captured the world's attention.
On Monday, May 4, in their first interview in America, Kate and Gerry McCann âparents of missing child Madeleine McCannâjoin Oprah to discuss the two-year search for their daughter. For the first time, viewers will see a remarkable age progression that reveals what Madeleine might look like today. Plus, our cameras go inside their Leicestershire home to spend the day with them and their 4-year-old twins, Sean and Amelie.
Then, on Monday, May 7, from her North Carolina home, Elizabeth Edwards opens up to Oprah about how she learned of her husband John Edwards' affair, how she feels about him today and how she's living with terminal cancer.
Later in May, grandparents Cindy and George Anthony talk with Oprah about their granddaughter Caylee Anthony and the investigation into her death. The Anthonys sit down for an interview together for the first time since their granddaughter's remains were found.
UPDATE April 21, 2009 â Based on the Anthonys' decision to appear on other programs, we have decided not to move forward with their interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show at this time.
