Holly and Rodney welcome former CNN host Daryn Kagan to the show! Daryn talks about her book, her website and her dream of bringing daily inspiration to others.

After a 12-year run as a news anchor for CNN, Daryn was forced to find a new calling in 2006 when her contract with the company was not renewed. For her, it was a chance to ask herself what she really wanted to do. She launched a new chapter in her life by starting darynkagan.com*, a one-stop destination website for sharing inspiring news with the world. "I think news is really important—it's important to be informed," she says. "I just think it's also important to be inspired."

Daryn is sharing more inspirational stories in her upcoming book, What's Possible! In the book, she shares stories of people who overcame obstacles, went on to do great things and gave back to the world. "It's really hard for me to have a bad day," Daryn says. "You get over yourself real fast around here because it's my job to interview and write stories about inspiring people."
