Tips for an Instant Room Makeover
  • Always place your sofa and loveseat in an L-shape so you don't close off the room. This allows you to add another seating space.
  • Add more lamps—you can have between three and five in just one room.
  • Add more decorative pillows and art to liven up a room.
  • Add space to a room with a three-dimensional wall decoration, like a sconce.
  • Art does not have to be hung around the perimeter of the room at eye-level. Stack art at least once in a room, or group four to five pieces together.
